Ford has one for $73 and auto zone has one for $25. I did clear the code. Do you think it can be dangerous to continue to drive it?Most likely the purge valve. Clear the code and see if it comes back; it may take some driving around to clear on its own. If it does, replace the purge valve per the thread/videos. Should be easy fix and less than $45. Pretty sure the part is at Autozone, etc. On other vehicles, I would say, "check your gas cap is tight". If this happened right after a gas station visit, might have just been a one-off incident.
Coyotes don’t have EGR valvesIs the purge valve the same as an EGR valve ?
Do you have all the vacuum lines connected correctly?Thread revival.
Did you guys get it worked out? I have a similar permanent code causing a smog failure. I changed the purge control valve a while back and cleared the code but apparently it’s still there.
any insight would be greatly appreciated.
