Just a general question about this type of installation, with the turbos so far from the intake, how is there not massive turbo lag?

The pipes are as far as you think. They are also 2.5" so it helps keep the velocity up from the turbo to the IC. I'd say the pipes from the turbo to the IC are in the 24"-30" range so really not a whole lot more than other installations. The other thing to note is that the hotside is very short which helps the turbos react quicker thus negating "lag" a bit too

Just kind of mocked up for now. One of the pieces of threaded rod was too short and Iā€™m waiting for the mandrel from my IW balancer from TKM to finish the pump. Still not sure how your supposed to connect this lower radiator hose though. It appears that the check valve just kind of floats out there rather than being secured to the plate now.

Tough to tell from pic but is the hose outlet pointed right at that spacer or is there at least a little room to slip a hose on? Or is that what you mean by not sure how to get the hose on? On the previous plate you would cut the rad hose, insert a piece to reclock it and that was it or that's how I did the installs anyway. Here are some pics

There is room to slip the hose on. I believe the new plate clearance is roughly the same in that aspect. The hose modification is where I struggle. While your pics make sense, thatā€™s not at all what the instructions describe, nor did it come with enough parts. Did you come up with your own couplers? My kit only has one and I donā€™t see any way thatā€™s going to work.

Yes, I didn't like just the one so on the installs I've done I did it the way you see in my pics. I fab a lot of stuff so I tend to have lots of stainless tube around and made my own. It's much easier to do multiple pieces like I did.

Once you work thru it all it really is a great kit. Last one I did was on a 2019 A10 car that made 723rwhp on our $hit 91 here in AZ.

Do you recall that hose size? I guess I need to order some couplers and maybe an additional 90.

Progress, Lol. Every time I work on it I realize that there are more parts I need to do something different or better.

If you did have to add your own 1.5" ss pipe, could you post up pics & measurements when you get time please. So we know what's missing
