Headers with gesi cats

That is odd, even Lethal Performance has that Cat description saying that it is a 200 cell. Stainless works does not have it listed at all

You can send an email to the guy in my email, and give him the part number on the cat you have, and he will tell you for sure what its specs are. Im not seeing anything on Lethal's website about the Cell count on the cats they have. Only that they offer the GESI Sport SWGESI450 as an upgrade for $800

Maybe their base option is a 200 cell, but for sure your car won't pass emissions with those, if that's a concern

I guess I would assume that their description is incorrect. Ether that, or the Gesi rep. was. I can confirm that even on E85, my car will set all of the readiness monitors with these cats.

Also, their description says EPA compliant, and I would highly doubt that a 200 Cell cat would be

See lethal uses the SKU Number for the description. As you can see though the part number in the picture lethal has is the same as the one you are saying. I'm not here to say you are wrong or to prove you are wrong. This is just what turned me to make this post in the first place. I hope what the guy emailed you is 100 percent true and these can take on a whipple with nothing more than proper tuning. It is completely normal for description to be wrong on different websites. I have emailed Gesi and Stainless Works and will confirm what they say. I do not have to worry about emissions or anything but if the cats start to melt I have what I need to replace them.

They list this 300 cell cat, but it's significantly cheaper. Im going to bet that Lethal just has the wrong description for that HPPL-00100

I haven't, but I dont race my car and generally just take spirited drives in the mountains. A few seconds here and there of WOT, but nothing that is heating the cats up to the levels that melt them. Ethanol burns cooler than gasoline so I assume that may actually be helping, but tuning is also important.

I just had this today. I had to buy the Gesi 450 for the boost and emissions.

Just removed the cats on my stainless works headers installed in 2016 on my 2015GT with Whipple. Kept getting error codes and not required to have e-checks so they are gone.
Cannot really tell any difference in how the cars runs.

so when you’re looking at the set ups

Cooks use as a high flow cat is certainly standard standard catalytic converter

Stainless Works and lth both use an entry-level GESI is there a standard converter

Do you have to upgrade to the green cooks to get the same level

Then Stainless Works and lth have their next level the UHO when it comes to Stainless Works or the Eco F with lth.

And then you have to go to the cook’s third level to get the same

They all seem to say you’re about 850 hp per side with that setup

The stainless works cats that came with my SP headers were 300 cell. Cant pass emissions with them. Went to Gesi450 for the header install and compliance. Hopefully it helps. I cant even pass emissions with the oem ones after the ESS and multiple tune revisions. At this point Im ready to just go back to stock. Been a GD nightmare to try to get emissions compliant.
