I’m looking to do 9psi boost setup and want to run stock manifolds with either the 2nd gen gesi gsport cats for boost or 2020 gt500 cats. 93 octane no track, drag racing or 60-130 runs. Which would be better. I can get a very low mile set of gt500 cats for $500.

At 9 psi you might as well run the GT500 ones and save your money. If you decide to crank up the power down the road, you can switch to the GESI Gen2 cats then, since you won’t be running stock manifolds then anyway.

They’re not running stock manifolds at that point. OP specifically said they wanted to keep stock manifolds and he’s only at 9 psi. Upgrading the cats at that point is definitely overkill.

Unless you turn up the boost, in which case I’m with you. :)
