I know you’ve seen what’s happened with me in the other thread, but I think one thing I’m going to do once the new block is run in is get a custom tune from MAP along with XForce high-flow cats. That’ll then be a UK Stage 2 Whipple with high-flow cats on our 99 fuel. It might take a while to get the miles on to do it, but I’ll try to remember to post back here when I do it.

Do your Kooks have the green or high-flow cats?
Mine are high flow because I'm NA.

Guys, besides a custom ECU tune, headers & cats, what if we add in an upgraded fuel pump? We don't have E85 in the UK, so let's ignore that for the moment. It sounds like from the above chat that with Whipple Stage 2 + headers + cats + custom tune that +700 rwhp is definitely possible. What if we add in an upgraded fuel pump, would that add hp and torque? If so, how much? Thanks for the insights.

I'm so stupid, I just read that the current Whipple kit includes a high flow fuel pump upgrade. Sorry for being so dumb, again.

I’d still run a BAP with the dw400 as we’ve seen fuel pressure fall up top with the DW. Or, just run a BAP with the stock pump. I have quite a few customers in the high 600’s low 7’s with just a BAP going on a few years with no issues.
