Will soon be installing a stage 2 Whipple. Looking for anybody with experience with either LTH headers and their ECOf by Gesi cat and or the Stainless Works/Power headers with Gesi G-Sport cats from Lethal Performance. I can't find any information for the ECOf cats, I've emailed and called LTH and never get a reply. The G-Sport cats from lethal with SW i can't find any info on witch one it is. And the only cat lethal has for sale by itself is a gen 1 not meant for cars over 2017 and only a 300 cell. Any help would be great.

On a boosted ride I would only do the GESI 85230 version, and that’s it. Anything else is a gamble for melting down IMO.

I agree that would be my go to. But what would be the route to do that. Order headers with "offroad" mid pipes then get them home and cut the midpipe to weld the gesi cats in? I can't even find a place to sell off road midpipes

That’s one option. Or, this Kooks kit has the HO Green cats with the headers as kit and it’s rated for 750+ WHP.

Agreed! Plenty of ZL1 guys running these full bore with no issues.

a 4.5" body won't fit under the car with the long tubes. You have to use the 50230 (if you want their best Cat). This cat is still only good up to 500 hp per bank

I too thought I was going down this road, but both Gesi and Stainless Power confirmed that the 4.5" body won't fit under the car. Sure enough, went under my car to take some measurements and nothing larger than a 4" body OD will fit.

The alternative is the HPPL-00100. This cat is still a 400 cell S-wound core but has fewer precious metals than the 50230. (Hence why it is 1/2 the cost.) Stainless Works RTCMM Stainless Works GESi High Flow Catalytic Converters | Summit Racing

Good thing with the Stainless Works/ Power slip fit connection, is that it is easy to remove, inspect and replace these as necessary. If you are going to race, you should get a pair of the "Transition Tubing" (basically a cat delete) to swap in during race events, then swap the cats back in for daily use.
Stainless Works Transition Tubing Transition 3in ID to 3in OD 11in OAL Pair - TT3311 - Beefcake Racing

I talked at length with Matthew Latino from Gesi about all their products. You really need a 5" core or larger to safely and reliably support 1000 WHP, but because long tube headers push the cats down under the car, they won't fit. Note that the OEM manifold/cat fitment has them much closer to the engine, and has plenty of room next to the transmission for a larger core.

Give this guy a call or email if you want to learn about what their products can and cannot do

Thanks , Some good info here .I was under the impression those H.O. 4.5” cats would fit , because kooks sells them as a package with long tubes for the s550 ..

I'd call them to verify that. Looking at their photos, they look like the same 4" OD cat that everyone else uses.

I would think that if they were using the 4.5" size, they would advertise the correct HP rating. The 4.5" Gen2 Advanced core can support 800 HP per bank/cat, but Kooks advertises the kit as "750 RWHP in modern Muscle cars", meaning only 375 HP per bank. They also rate the HP number the same for both the 300 and 400 cell options.

The H.O. cats are 300 cell, not 400. Your car will not pass emissions with the 300 cell cats, if that is something you are considering. I can confirm, that with the HPPL-00100, my car will set all of the readiness monitors. (Has as much to do with tuning as well.)

The other issue with the Kooks setup IMO, is that the cats are welded into a proprietary connection pipe, so if you need replacements you are forced to buy their cats. Whereas the Stainless works/Power ones can be bought from various suppliers with the slip fit connections already on them.

I actually went with the Stainless Works headers and got the exact cats your talking about. But I'm pretty sure they are 200 cell cats.
