Last night I spent hours installing STAINLESS WORKS 1-7/8" LONG TUBE HEADERS WITH 3" OFF ROAD LEAD PIPES (PERFORMANCE CONNECT)
With the Corsa Extreme exhaust Catback. And also UPR motor mounts.

After getting the car together at 5am this morning the headers piece seemed short and the there was a gap of about 2 1/2 inches missing. Played with all the pieces from the headers collectors back to the Corsa. It seemed like somewhere in the system it was to short in length. Has anyone had this happen if so please help!

Even with the performance connect, I think I remember reading somewhere you still will need to have an exhaust shop fab up a piece to fit.

This is why beefcake make the SP/SW headers with the connection point that mates to the Corsa directly, to save the people on the forums some trouble.

yep, we have a long version we sell

perf connect headers by manufacturers are designed to connect to their own perf version of exhaust

thats why we did the exteneded leads

That's unfortunate. I know American Racing headers with their 3" performance connect bolts right up.
none of the normal perf connects bolt right up

only the kits that are specifically made to mate to the shorter exhaust would.

Here is the link to a thread concerning a performance connect from ARH that bolts right up to the exhaust, at least to Corsa which the OP has. But may need mods for other catbacks. But as far as Corsa, no modification. Shawn at Hypermotive says also in the video.

That's a new system that was designed to work with these setups. We sell the arh too

My point is. If you want a system to work with the corsa after you pull out sections of it making it shorter than every other system out there. You need headers designed to do that. Like the arh or the stainless works. But you need a system designed to do that. The part number op bought was specifically made to go with SW perf connect only. He was sold the wrong stuff. He needed factory connect. Or our long SW set up

Correct, no modifications needed to make this fit directly to Corsa. We were so successful with this you saw others finally deciding to make it as well.

Go to your local auto parts store. They sell 3"ID to OD pipes. You need 2 approximately 5-6 inches long and two clamps. That will fix the gap and costs like 15bucks.

Waiting this morning for Lethal to contact me back about this. I called all the local auto zones and advanced ap's and none carry it. Oreillys does but they are like 40 miles away. Just waiting to hear back from Lethal on what they can do for me. Thanks for all the help guys!
