Which one? I'm guessing Archetype simply because it has the two crossover lines instead of the single on the MMR. But, still thought about opinions. Also, the MMR head cooling mod is on crazy sale right now. Might as well do that at the same time!

i'd guess less than 1% of guys on here are running these parts. definitely interesting mods though, especially for boost or road racing applications. when i inquired with MMR, they said theirs was the best. when i asked archetype, they said the same thing. LOL

I have the dual oil lines
Only reason I put them on is because the dealer was installing a new engine ( under warranty) and my car is a track car only
As for modular motor coolant line, I lost interest in it as soon that I saw the “ patent pending “ verbiage
That is 100% marketing speak with absolutely no data or fact to support it. Anyone that know anything about IP, would be laughing…. What type of patent, utility, design, bs ?

Good luck installing that last one with the motor in place?

How hard is it to install that oil balance line with the engine in the car?

So what's the difference in cooling between cyl 4&8 ? <- Rhetorical. SWEET FA. Even though they insist #8 blows all the time. There is ZERO data to support those claims. No major tuners / FI-turbo companies recommend the cooling mod or oiling mod. I agree, cause simply it's not needed. Unless you like to pay for marketing gimmicks then have at er.

I did lost # 8 on my track car. I had the oil lines installed when the engine was being replaced. Frankly I’m not sure if it’s going to solve the issue but, it certainly can’t hurts

I installed the Archetype lines. Can't speak to the MMR lines. Installed with engine in the car. It's a bit of a bear but did it on my own in an afternoon. I track my car monthly so I'm interested in reliability and durability. My read is there's a reason the GT4 cars run these.

I don’t know the cause, and can’t say that I’ve seen it on the 5.2, but I’ve seen a few 5.0 articles where #4 and 8 spark plugs come out a different color than the rest.

And here’s a funny ass story now that I say that. (Maybe unrelated, but still interesting). My ‘12 blew the #6 spark plug out. No idea why. Repaired the threads and life is good. Out of a little paranoia, I decided to check all the torque on the plugs after about 5,000 miles. I did not back them off or take them out. Just socket in, and a quick click on the torque wrench. My spark plug socket got stuck on both the #4 and 8 spark plugs. Had to remove the plug and get my socket off and start over. It was weird.

GT4 is 5.2L w/ crossplane crank & dry-sump.
Similar lines come on the FP350S Voodoo as well. For me, relatively cheap insurance in an attempt to avoid oil aeration issues on 4 and 8 given my usage. For you, feel free to make your own call 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yep, for me and tens of thousands of other coyote owners the choice is clear. Side note: you rarely if ever hear of a coyote failure do to oiling to the top end, mains, rods, and pistons. Those broken OPG are from people bouncing off the limiter for like ever.

Um, this is the GT350 section and we are talking about the voodoo, not the GT with a coyote engine.

@galaxy, The FP350S, uses the 1 line. I think you'd be safe and fine with that. Besides, that is a full on race car built for extreme racing conditions. If I wasn't tracking my car, I dont know if it is necessary. But if I did, I would probably just go with the MMR.
