Hopefully the greatest country in the world learns a few lessons from all of this and starts manufacturing at home

I think they are starting on that process now, especially the Fab productions. Still some will be offshore, but not that far away from where we can't control it. Again it is a competitive global market and labor & overhead costs plays a huge role on pricing. Everybody wants it cheap...lol...

Absolutely right. I’d just like to see production, if we must do it out of the country, happen to our south as opposed to across the ocean. We’d have more control over it and we wouldn’t be giving our wealth, jobs, and tech to you know who.
I’m sure Ford is desperately doing what they can to build these cars as fast as possible and I hope you guys that keep getting screwed by delays hang in there. I’ll be sad to see all of this cause anyone to have a change of heart about buying a Mach 1.

I found two 700a Handling Packs on a lot and I'm considering buying the gray one. They also have a twister orange but I don't think its as nice as the Comp Orange I'll be giving up to buy it.

My Build date is supposed to be November week one. They have teh same options +Elite but -Recaros.

Yeah it’s really, really bad. It would be different if in March they would have said it will be built in September. But after 13 (maybe 14, I’m losing track) delay emails from Ford, who know how long this goes on? There’s zero reason to expect that this is really it this time.

I feel for him. I was fortunate when my FJG/HP was built early Apr and delivered a week later. Had my fun with it and sold it for a healthy profit. Once things settle down, I will again order from Zack @ Granger. This time around, I am going back to a GT Prem rag top, A10, 5.0. No PP, stripes, etc. "KISS !" I will trade in the Ranger and the Miata.

Damn, missed this thread! So you sold the M1 already? Was it because it encountered the hail damage and you felt your new purchase was damaged? Did that damage show in any VIN reports?

Does anyone know when 2021 production ends and 2022 to starts for the Mustang? With all these delays on the HP cars I wouldn't mind just getting a 2022.

I have been wondering the same thing. My latest build date is Oct 4. I'm hoping for a 2022 MY at this point.

Got my VIN today after ordering couple days ago and after damage to the original one I ordered in March came last week. Priority 1. Joke. My scheduled build date is Sept 27th. 2 months. If they still sold the challenger 50th anniversary I would get that and cancel this crap

Yeah at this point it's pretty obvious that the whole order priority code thing is a fraud. I've been a priority 1 for two months but scheduled for September like everybody else.

If you take a stroll thru the “ordered cars” thread, it’s pretty clear that Mach 1’s for some reason are getting pushed behind orders for GT’s and EB’s. Several people over there who ordered in May and already getting their cars, or recently got emails from Ford saying their production dates were moved from Sept to August!! WTF!!
