Has anyone ordered a Mach 1 yet

Call Ford Performance at 800-367-3788 option 1 and give them the last 8 digits of your VIN and they'll tell you exactly where it's at. Last email I got from Ford a few weeks ago said my build would be July 26, but I called FP today and they told me it's actually July 19.

Hell I can't get beyond order confirmed (and that was back in early May). No VIN to even reference....

I'm not sure when this happened, or how accurate this is, but my mustang mach 1 changed to "in production" in the last week. But I havent recieved an email from ford in over a month. The Last update in the form of an email, I believe was on may 5th. I'm hoping it actually is in production, I'm going to call the number tomorrow to try to find out

Got current build date July 12th. That would mean delivery in mid October. Not quite what I pictured when I ordered in January.

At this point I hope for further delays and delivery next year

I read that it takes 2-3 months for the transportation to Europe via boat. Few cars made in March got here at the end of May.

I did get the handling package. I got

Premium, appearance package, handling package, elite package, automatic transmission, and the navigational system.

if mine follows the same timeline, mine may get pushed to next year. good and bad there. really wanting a 21, but gives more time for the a larger downpayment and saving cash for PPF and CC and new tires and a few other things I would like to do ASAP.

Just got a VIN today, Mine was ordered April 30 and I have a built week of September 20.

Ordered on 4/9/2020. Blue, Premium, 6SPD, upgraded wheels, regular leather seats with NAV.

Production week is July12th. Rep said online status will likely change online tracker on week of July 5th. Usually 6 weeks delivery from July 12th. "Looking at late August, or Early September". "Spends about two weeks at the factory and 4 weeks in transit under normal conditions."





The following below is based on my own reading not what I have been told by any Ford Rep or dealer.

This is my understanding that order date does not necessarily determine your place in line! Priority code assigned by the dealer, and your particular options are taken into account at factory for streamlined efficient production for Ford. So if a certain part, computer chip, ect is out of inventory at factory you may get moved around a bit to accommodate cars with more recent order dates than your own that they can build with the parts on hand.

Basically, ordered date is not end all be all, and I'm speaking for USA marker cars, I'm sure exports complicate this much more.

That’s all true. I know there were cars ordered through my dealer after mine that were built and delivered before my car was. It all comes down to Ford trying to optimize efficiency at the plant. They are not going to build them in order if it holds up production waiting for some part or chip to come in.
