You want the crossover around 10-20 inches from the header collector ideally. However vehicle designs may dictate otherwise.

Hey guys, a semi-related question, if you don't mind: What exactly would you call the stock resonator? Does it act more like an 'X' or 'H' pipe inside? Couldn't find a cutout anywhere, and I'm curious . And one of you might know . Thank you.

I just put on the Roush H Pipe on my 19 with Roush Active Exhaust and sounds awesome. If you want to stick with Roush you got your answer, if you want a solid alternative at a better price point the Steeda H Pipe is very good. I had it on my 17 with Roush Axle Backs and it was very loud, but sounded great.
