If you are at all into performance, and bang for you $. it is the only way to go. To add some of the features later would cost a lot of $$$.

Short answer, from what I gather from this forum...

You qualify for PP if one or more of the following apply:

If you plan on putting it on the track, yes.
If you don't mind a slightly rougher ride vs cushy ride, yes.
If you don't plan on/want to go nuts with modding, yes.
If there is even a single part of the package you would like (i.e., Brembos), yes.
If you like fancier interior doo-dads than the non-PP offers, yes.
If it is strictly a daily driver and you like telling people you like bigger and more powerful things than on the non-PP, yes.
If you like black wheels, yes.

Finally...If you are condescending to people who don't have/care about it, well, you're just being a jerk.

That is all.

You forgot one.

If you just want it and don't really have a reason. After all, it is your money

If you wanted them after the fact:
6 piston Brembos - $1900
Torsen Diff - $980
Torsen Diff install - $$$
Upgraded radiator - $640
19" wheels/tires used - $1000

I'm a mechanical engineer by profession, so any bargain-priced functional upgrade is a no-brainer to me.

I love mine, and I never even test drove a '15 before I ordered mine. I find the GT PP as delivered to be the perfect all-around setup, in a way it's kind of a shame it's not my daily driver (hope my Jeep can't read). I wouldn't want any more cush or compliance to the handling, and the engine response is right there due to the reasonably stout gearing.

For me it's spot on. Other than a few very minor cosmetic add-ons which I've done (black lugs and emblems, shift knob, etc.), I have no major mod plans outside of a CAI and tune.

Especially that Torsen limited slip diff, which I greatly desire over a normal loaded spring clutch pack LSD, if/when I get a Mustang GT.

While I agree with the above sentiment, you can get the 6 piston brembos for less than have of that from Tasca parts (calipers are $250 each, then pick a rotor/pad you like) , so I'll be adding that one on for sure.

I think it is a no brainer, a lot of us, most, of the mustang buyers wont do a single upgrade themselves. The PP gives us a great upgrade package for what 15-25 dollars a month if thats how to want to see it. The Package is more than just Brembro's, but they are an attractive piece of it.

I personally expect to do some upgrades, exhaust, maybe a tune and CAI I dont really know. But I wont do it myself and I dont want to go through all the brain damage to have a dealer or another vendor install brakes, springs, interior pieces etc etc.. My time is worth more to me than that. everyone sees it different. But if your the average guy like most of us looking to get a great performance car for a great price and do a few track days I think this option is outstanding.

Go look at pricing for other packages on other cars, some of the pricing is just stupid. ex: Porsche cayman (yeh different class but) exhaust $2890, seats 14 way $2300, nav bose stupid shit that should be standard is $4500, Active suspension $1790 (probably not a bad deal)

I'll probably eventually buy the brembo brakes separately and install them myself. Wasn't an option for auto transmission. I also already bought the Ford Racing strut tower bar, which does a great job of stiffening up the front end.
