Lamborghini provides a three-year, unlimited-mileage warranty on all vehicles
Porsche Four-year / 80,000 km warranty on all vehicles
Ferrari three-year/unlimited-mileage warranty and a seven-year free maintenance program from the date of purchase

^ All these cover street & track sessions.
FORD will tell you your SOL if at track session.

Nice that the 506hp 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 set a lap time of 6:55.34 for around $200,000.

As for the vette ... with 1000+ horsepower, being rear mid engine, and similar weight to the GTD, you can do the math.

I'll do that math. *Tap tap tap...tap tap..tap...tap*..........The math says you probably can't afford any of those cars anyway so you shouldn't worry about their warranty.

This calculator is a little condescending 🤔

Is the aero as effective as the GTD? That extra HP doesn’t matter if you can’t actually use it. It will make better time in the straights for sure but that may not matter if it’s not as effective in the turns. And we probably wont know the answer until the ZR1 goes out there.

And do we know what the GTD warranty actually states yet? Ford GT owners can probably provide some insight there, because that is also race car for the street.

Not really lol. The heavy hitters on the Nurburgring time list have rear weight bias. The 911 GT3 RS is 39/61 and both the AMG One and AMG GTR is 47/53.
47/53 is close enough LOL when full of gas it's probably even closer.... race cars homogolized for the street is just marketing fluff.

True, true.

Ahhhh the condescending calculator , love the calculations one can do with it. .
For instance, I calculated that anyone of the above cars will destroy anything
you own, and they all have plenty of rear camber. Ha-ha.

And that’s fine. I’ve never once heard the word Corvette come from anyone’s mouth at Ford or Multimatic when talking GTD, at least not publicly (I don’t know those guys personally so maybe they’re saying it privately). They’re benchmarking against Europe, and Porsche specifically.

The ZR1 and GTD will be compared by the general public and car mags no doubt. But it seems to me the only thing that Ford cares about with regards to the Vette is beating it to being first to go sub-7. Which they did.

And yes, the higher volume Chevy dealers will probably sell the ZR1’s at MSRP, but there will be plenty that don’t. Actual cost to buyers will be much closer to GTD pricing when factoring in ADM. I could care less about MSRP comparisons when the actual $$ amount coming out of someone’s wallet is very different. No ADM on the GTD as far as I know, the dealers that accommodate delivery get some kind of fee from Ford as I understand it from others here.

Oh yeah, call your local Chevy dealer and ask how long the wait is for a ZR1. It’s not like they’ll be flooding showrooms with them. I’ve heard upwards of 2-3 years waitlist from the couple Chevy dealers I know.
Anybody noticed the recent pricing/values for Z06/Z07 Corvette especially after huge ADM's that pretty much all Chevrolet dealerships demanded?

Of course when GM/Chevrolet floods the market with their C8's (always been their business model) prices will begin to fall and that will eventually happen as well to the upcoming ZR1 model.

Ford GT warranty book has the same language as our standard issue Mustangs do. You can download the PDF version of the book online.
