Looking for someone who has experience running RT660's for autocross. What tire pressures seem to work best with these tires on Mustangs? I found several forums for other kinds of cars, Miata's and Vette's. But not much good info for Mustang's.

Next time you buy, switch to the RE71RS, CRS, or A052. The Falkens are not winning on the big muscle cars when it counts..

I ran 33/31, on a 19 x 11.5" wheel. My opinion, plus of minus 2 psi from those numbers wasn't a wild swing on grip or tread temps. Very decent tires, even on track.

And I second all of nightmares comments on winning cars. I just went to the re-71rs and while I'm still learning how to drive them, it put me in top 10 PAX no issue. I closed the gap from top pax from 3 seconds to 1.3 seconds.

Falkens are at their best the day you put them on, and fall off every heat cycles after that, until the 7th or 8th heat cycle, and my experience, they are shot after that. Even with plenty of tread left.

I just ran a new set of RT 660 on my Mach 1 at Area 27, and they did very well IMO. It was hot, track temp was 59C (139F). Even in the heat I was able to get 1.4g in the corners. They performed just like the Sport Cup 2s but didn't wear like they did.

Now for autocross, that is a different story, I've not done an autocross on these.

We saw the same thing locally. My CAMC partner and I went from RT660/Kumho V730 to both being on A052's and we're both in the hunt for top 10 PAX at every event against multiple national level competitors and last event finished top 5. Before that I was happy to be in the top 20.
