That all sounds about right. Most have been using 135 ft/lbs with ARP assembly lubricant. Wildly successful on all of our street, track and truck builds for years.

Christian’s car is incredibly fast. It’s maybe 2-3 seconds off the pace of a Porsche cup car with. Ridiculous

Easily the fastest car at Streets of Willow this weekend. He said he's about a month or 2 away from having all the parts to make it a full GT4 car

Most recent batch of titanium lug nuts is out being delivered and I’ve been seeing some great photos. I have about 20 sets left from this last run.
.
Great comparison of how you lug nut looks before and after she is done torquing it down........

Did you ever get around to adjusting the lugs to sit flush with CFTP studs and your wheels and/or CF OEM wheels?

The lug length should coincide with the stud length for whichever target vehicle..

I have not. There are many stud lengths on the market, and it’s difficult to account for each. Since the lugs are also designed around the Signature Wheel this current design works fantastic on the base S550, GT350, GT350R, GT500, CFTP, Raptor, and Ford Explorer.

A simpler solution in situations where the concern is cosmetic is a cap or plug to cover the open portion of the lug nut. Then we don’t have to adjust the functionality or versatility of the design.

Would be cool to see you work with a local contact to create something like this specific for the CFTP though. These caps came to be through one of our Signature Wheel clients working with a disabled veteran that had a 3D printer and some time. But it never got off the ground due to production issues

I recall you went to a lot of trouble to get those lugs right to work on the R. It was nice how the lug ends coincided with the stud length.

Instead of a one size (doesn't) fit all approach, why not make another sized set for the 500?

You have a beautiful titanium lug and then cover it up in plastic?

It’s not in the cards right now, but maybe In the future.

I sold my set when I sold my SV302s wheels. I know the Shelby SE comes with APR studs, and I may just pick up another set for them. I will have to do some figuring once I get them, perhaps I will want all 20 long for this setup.

T, any knowledge on how they fit on APR studs?

Well, it all starts with a problem. For a while now many of the GT350R owners switching to aftermarket wheels found themselves dealing with the extended front studs protruding out much further than the rear studs. For the R It all stems from the pad used on the OEM Carbon Fiber wheel. I suspect the front of the GT500 will also include extended studs to accommodate the carbon wheel design. The pad is much thicker up front and takes up the space from the extended stud. All aftermarket wheels use a thinner pad, so this is an issue for any enthusiast owner switching away from the OEM wheel. This also happens with GT500/GT350/S550 owners running extended front studs. When you swap to an aftermarket wheel, that stud requires you to run an open-ended lug nut. The end result is front and rear lug nuts that no longer sit at the same depth as OEM. Even from the factory the GT500 lug nuts sit deep inside the lug pocket, and at a different depth. For many it is aesthetically unappealing, and causes difficulty finding a lug nut to run front and rear.

Since I started with Signature Wheel I have had several customers asking about lug nut options for the extended studs on the R. As time went on it was discovered that in many situations the OEM lug nuts would distort the chrome cap, swell under heat, or had too large of a head to work on aftermarket wheel setups. The end result was the development of titanium lug nuts to solve these concerns. You can read in depth on all the benefits of the titanium, but the main points are the reduction in weight, corrosion resistance, increase in strength, and resilience to heat swelling.

What was developed is intended to be the last lug nut you will ever need. These Exhibitions Of Speed titanium lug nuts are specifically designed to solve all of the issues S550 enthusiasts have ever had. Specific lengths are used front and rear to allow the lug nuts to sit at the same depth. Open ends are employed to work with any brand M14 stud you plan to use on the car. A raised engagement point ensures you don't demolish the inside of you lug nut recess trying to access with a deep socket. Standard 19mm hex heads ensure proper clearance at the lug nut wall, and eliminate the need for any specialty sockets. A 50% reduction in weight makes sure you are totally racecar. Complete sets of short lug nuts can be special made for those seeking to run square wheel setups with spacers.

These lug nuts were specifically designed to work with our Signature Wheel. Nothing like these exist on the market for the S550. Much work from several awesome partners brought these to being because I love you guys, and nobody will ever love you like I do. These have also been shown to work will with other brand wheels, but you cant go putting ketchup on steak. Cost has been kept down to $430 shipped for these, and if you look around at other titanium brands you will see it is well placed in the market. We have had roughly 200 sets go out over the past 3 years and never had an issue. Street them, track them, off-road them, or use them to impress girls at the bar when you show how light your nuts are.

I build small batches (30-40 sets) approximately twice a year so these are fairly rare bids. More are built according to how many place 50% deposits to have them ordered. I am planning a new batch for March and they take about 60 days to complete. They are all raw titanium to keep costs down on small batch plating/coating, plus they are corrosion resistant. Some black caps are in development, but not quite ready for market.

If you have questions please ask, and you can also see the existing thread on them linked below in the GT350 section. If you are interested in the next batch please comment below or DM me your email address.

Did you ever get around to having the torque setting recommendations to achieve the proper preload certified?

The goal was always to provide a complete package. Engineer solutions that provide excellent functionality and are consistently aesthetically relevant across platforms.
.
With the next production run of Exhibitions of Speed titanium lug nuts completely bought out, it is great to see they are well received by the community. Here are some excellent shots showcasing the execution on a set of Signature Wheel Precision Series SV703 and the Carbon Fiber Track Pack GT500 owned by @JRedondox .
.
Notice the higher point of engagement, equal protrusion and finished aesthetics.
.
I snuck a few more sets to this current production run, but they likely wont last long. Let me know if you need a set.
