Does anyone know what happened to the production of these blocks? I can’t find them in stock anywhere. My order with Levittown Ford Parts has been pending since October 2024, and I’m furious!

It’s just a really unpleasant situation, mostly because I don’t know when it’ll be back in stock or when it will ship. It’s already been six months, and it could take just as long—or even longer.

I’ve contacted almost every shop I know, including those I found on Google and none of them have the block in stock. The ETA keeps getting pushed back. It looks like there are some production issues.

Or it's out of production.

I ordered one from my local dealer (way overpaid for it) a few weeks ago. I was given a date several months out and it showed up 2 days later.

Are you ordering the Ford Performance part number or the Ford OEM part number?

Letter dated April 10. It's the same everywhere, but now we're talking about the middle of June.

Great, I’m happy for you! It was mainly the FPP number; with some dealers I asked for the OEM number, but the delivery times were also unknown. Which dealer did you place your order with?

Small, local, low volume dealer. Purvis Ford. I went with the OEM number, but it was about $700 more than I could have gotten the FP number for.
