Couple pics before a hard day running back highways of Southern Indiana with a friend. We swapped for a while. C8 is a great driver, great touring car, but the power just isn’t there. Digs hard, but 60-100+ just lacks. Not knocking it at all, just different machines. Great day!

Interesting. Seeing more and more C8s pop up around me. Could see the power difference of the 2 make someone feel something lacking...

Wonder how it will be when the Z06 and ZR1 are introduced, vs a GT500?

I'm sure the Z06 variant will be hard to beat. The base car is already pretty impressive with under 500 hp.

Just don’t care for the C8 from the front windshield forward. Without the engine under the hood it sets too low.

GT500 won’t come near a c8 ZR1 for sure. But hopefully the z06 makes up that top end but I’m sure the torque will lack vs outgoing base c8.

C8 Z06 & ZR1 will by far be the faster car.

I saw one in person and not gonna lie it’s not that amazing, the interior is quite nice but otherwise it’s just ok. I am not particularly brand loyal and I would totally drive one, but not something I would buy.

I owned a C7 Z06 and the body of the C7 was and still is gorgeous. The C8 "to Me" looks great as well but only from the door back. The front just seems to short not gonna say I wouldn't buy one someday.

Extreme southern. Perry county. 37, 145, 62, 66. Great VERY rural driving roads.

That's funny - I traded my C7 Z06 for a GT500 and I think the new C* looks like $#!t from the door back. They rear is Camaro meets ElCamino - and compared to the lines of any otehr mid-engine - the rear looks like a cheap knockoff. I don't mind the front tho :)
That said - if the eRay or the ZR1 are "real" and AWD hybrids - they are a poor mans NSX and I'll probably head back to the bow-tie...

Will check them out for some fun runs. North Indy here. Loving the car. Saw several new C8's on the road driving back from FL recently. Orange - ugly, light blue no thanks. White - looking better but needs the Z06 Treatment. For the money, comfort and performance I'll take our GT500's
