2017 GT350 now gone to a great home.
I had to do a little digging.. according to the BOSS302.org website, the original placement according to the Ford Media Release was for the stripes to flow in line with the door... however, the cars that came out of Dearborn were straight, some of the cars that came out of the Metuchen Plant were placed wrong and high in the back.... If the car did come out of Metuchen, it may actually be correct.... or someone thought it would be a good idea to do a few shots while installing the side stripes.

Beautiful. What does it have for a motor? You don't see many in white. Here were my past two 69's

The color is actually Pastel Gray, which is kind of a dirty white color. Not sure why Ford rolled out that color for '69. I had the 390 ci , with a 4 spd toploader and factory shaker. Last year for the 390 truck engine. LOL I sold the car and it is now in Arizona.

Here is my 1971 429 CJ Mach 1 from the way back machine. Sometime I will repurchase these models as I absolutely loved them both. Yours are gorgeous.

The '69 photo is in front of my old high school, which I thought was appropriate since I graduated in '72.

That color reminds me of the original Eleanor from Gone in 60 Seconds (I know that was a 1973). Your 71 appears to be an early 71, as it did not have the hockey stripes. I also had a 71 429 CJ Mach 1 with no stripes, but in Pewter. I am not sure if it was funny or not, but stepping on the pedal, you could see the gas gauge drop haha.

My Dad, Mom and I were at the Kruse auction in Auburn Indiana, around about 1992.... the old man scooped up a mint 1969 Mach 1, 428CJ, Shaker hood, 4spd, rim blow horn (hated that feature actually), fold down rear seat.. all black with those red reflective stickers.

I got to drive it home... following mom and dad, of course.

I was 16, maybe 17.

it was awesome.

Watching Mecum Auction Live on YouTube - finally making it to the Mustang squadron.

The 2015 GT350R we were all watching? Sold for $105,000 (below!)
Interesting to compare to the 2018 GT350R, identical colours and stripes (also below)
The 2018 Leadfoot Grey also sold (Auctioneer mistakenly said colour was magnetic metallic)

Reserves went off for all these, if I recall correctly.
These also just sold:

Seems the engine replacement had an effect on this one.
