The green one is the V6, black one is the SS.

Its pretty simple, the one with the toyota camry sport front is the ss! Small diffuser and mazda smiley face looking is a v6!

So the regular ss couldn't beat an m4 nor a fifth gen 1le on the motortrend comparison but it was pretty close! If chevy's claim of 3 seconds difference is valid for a six gen vs fifth gen 1le, the car is as fast as GTR around the track or its a total BS!

It honestly seems to me like this segment is the most argumentative. Mustang/Camaro/SRT8/maybe even C7. I've been on Mustang forums on and off since about 2000, and I just recently joined Camaro6 too. Most of those guys seem pretty cool. You can definitely tell that most of them are new to VVT and direct injection.

They said the 6G 1LE is 3 seconds faster than 5G 1LE at "Big Willow", which is a ~2:00 course that favors better acceleration. The Alpha chassis Camaro has the power to weight ratio advantage by a long shot.

I believe it was said the 2017 1le is 3 sec faster then the 2016 SS. But again the 16ss is suppose to be as fast as the 15 1le, which would bring you back around where the 17 1le is 3sec faster then the 15 1le.:doh:
