I'd suggest the BMR springs over the FP springs for a tracked car, personally. They're stiffer and more predictable.

D'oh looks like #13 snuck in there. For some reason it won't let me delete those pictures. Oh well! Here are some more.

I just checked my photos but unfortunately it doesn't look like the #12 was running when I was there.

Thanks, would you recommend BMR sway bars as well, they seem to have more adjustability!

I'd confirm with Kelly at BMR since I haven't tested their bars, but I think he recommends only swapping out the front bar

So, I am at it finally. The weather is breaking and I am able to put some miles this sucker. I have noticed a few issues and maybe I can get some help from you guys!
1. The air bag light is on.
So all of the air bags were disconnected beside the knee air bags. I was able to plugs all of them in including the 2 connection on the seat belt tensioner, that was a lot of fun lol.
Well, I am still getting an error for the seat belt tensioners. I not sure how to test them? I am open to ideas! There should be a certain resistance per connection correct?

2. A hesitation on the highway at constant speed. Cruise control won’t work. The hesitation feeling like the brakes are being applied by the traction control.
I had TSB 19-2135 performed and it only Kinda worked. So, now the cruise control works below 50 so the system is happy but above 50 the cruise doesn’t work and the hesitation is still there. I am open to suggestions.

I am not to worried about cruise control work but more importantly want the traction / stability control to work properly.

I plugged all of my airbags back in as well. There should be one circular plug at each front belt connection to the floor, another circular one at each tensioner, a plug under each seat, a plug behind the glovebox, the steering wheel bag, and one circular curtain airbag plug way at the corner of the “C” pillar where the quarter window meets the package tray on each side. Pain in the a** to get to most of them.

As for the hesitation, the TSB is the only fix I’m aware of for that issue. Is the car throwing any codes?

I was able to find all of them and the air bag light is still one, it is put out a code for the seat belt tensioners, and both of the seat belt connections are in place! I am gonna have to pull the rear panels to deep dive that air bag issue.

There is no code before or after the TSB was performed. I purchased a new output speed sensor and will replace it when it comes in and go from there.

Did you air bag light go out after plugging everything back in?

Sorry to revive an old thread but do you (or others) know how much these were sold for from FPRS?

The old threads are good. What is FRPS?

I got my racing license in 1990 at the Road Atlanta School. I won a bunch of races and Championships. Here:

I can handle adjustments to a car with bias-belted tires. I am not good with modern radial tires.

No one liked racing the #2 !965 Mustang.

IIRC, I think most if not all sold for around $45k…. I’m sure those owners on this site can comment if that is indeed correct, or feel free to correct me.

There’s quite a few Track Attack Owners on this very forum who jumped on the deal and were lucky enough to buy/own a piece of history. Just search “track attack”, “FPRS Shelby”, “Ford Performance GT350”…. that should net some great threads with many pics.
