The house I was renting was built in the 20s. I'm pretty sure it wasn't structurally sound BEFORE that.When you house shakes like that, do you have to get someone to inspect it to make sure it is still structurally sound?
just kidding. but no, we didn't have anyone look at the house. I figure if it made it through the 89 one, it's going to take something pretty serious to do any real damage. The construction is different out here... houses are made to shake and be ok... at least the newer ones are.
