I agree with you on this. So my tuner keeps telling me I'm fine with stock inj, I'm fbo with gt350 intake and TB. I'll be porting my intake and going to e85flex. I have the 47s but he keeps telling me im ok and had plenty of room last time they checked. Idk what is going on and why some are lean and some aren't.
You absolutely need those 47s with E-85 and that manifold. If not, you aren't making the power you should be.

I agre yea. I'm putting them in the car when they go to retune for flex. I'm at 456 on 93 @7500 I can't see there being much more room.

I missed who is doing your tuning. Did you mention it?

I've poured over these threads and I believe that how well the GT350 TB works is completely dependent on the tuner. Some are getting good results, others not so much. Ford obviously knows how to make it work well since it comes in two of their Performance Pack kits.
I would like to see real world results from people who buy and dyno their performance kits, rather than take the manufacturer/vendor word as gospel. I have a hard time a 350 CAI and TB will consistently make the power they made on pump gas. Reminds me when Gibson said their exhaust made 20hp.

They definitely shouldn't be telling people it's ok to run full E-85 on stock injectors with high flow manifolds. Honestly even my car on stock manifold is out of injector on E-85. I've got LU47s and already have a tune I made waiting for them. I know Sean from AED won't do E-85 tunes on stock injectors even on stock manifolds and I'll agree 100% with him on this one.

Well I may have the gt350 injectors, I'll need to check to see what they installed last time and maybe thats why?

I thought the same thing, but MULTIPLE tuners are now finding out the stock injectors will flow plenty for e85 and GT350 mani. I've asked several times and always get the same answer. I'm not sure why your duty cycle is almost maxed out. I'm going to log mine next week and take a peek.

so this is where things get confusing around here.
Lund and others say no need for inj now even running e85 with the intake. Some people say no way it's needed

I'm going to log mine today and see for myself as well. I really don't think a shop that does tuning/R&D for Ford would lie to me but we honestly never know.

Yep I was told the same but I don't agree now that I've run E-85 on my car (I'm self tuned). That's why we should be careful believing others unless actual evidence and data is provided.

Unless PE lambda is run lean it's not hard to max the stock injectors out on E-85. At 0.88 lambda which is the leanest you should go on E-85 I'm at 92-93% IDC at 0.85 lambda I'm at 96-97% IDC at times. My LU47s will be here early next week so no more maxed injectors for me. It will give me peace of mind.

GT350 shares the same injectors as the regular 5.0 I'm looking at a stock 2016 Voodoo tune right now and flow rates are the same.
