I'm curious if you can get more out of it with more cam tuning. You are more than welcome to try the op cam angles in that E-85 tune I sent you. Thanks everyone, I'm still gonna shoot for 460 wheel on the stock cams (gonna try some further VCT manipulation) before I call the stock cams maxed...
For reference my car with nothing more than a tune and CAI put down 392 on this same dyno..on one of my higher rpm pulls stock vs now I'm up over close to 100 hp
I'm really pumped to see what I can squeeze out of this motor n/a...sure its more expensive but the reliability of an n/a motor is hard to beat...looking into ported 15 heads and comp stage 3s...I'm still waiting to see before and after dyno graphs to see how hard the bottom end tq is affected before I take the plunge

I also had to raise my cylinder pressure timing as it was limiting me before. E-85 plus the injectors the gains are big especially midrange when I hit it the car just hits so much harder than it used to on 93. Pre injectors I was pretty much maxing out IDC so the ecm wasn't happy and was limiting torque.Terminator2 just looked over the tune you sent...the vct angles you have were something i was looking at implementing as well...ill give it a go and see how she does...also found that my cylinder pressure limits in ignition were also holding back available timing so i modified those tables as well
Id be curious to see how e85 would benefit my car as well...just need to order some injectors and make some minor adjustments in the tune...only dilemma is id have to order a can of e85 no local stations carry it anymore
I am confident it is just a slight fuelling issue on light throttle, it is either a touch rich or lean.Gibbo205. Thats awesome man, im sure lund can work out the cold start touchiness
I know my Octane 93 is a little different to what you guys get, well according to Lund it is anyway.I also had to raise my cylinder pressure timing as it was limiting me before. 30* at 2500 34* max at 7000 on E-85. 93 was 22* at 2500 and 28* max at 7000.I know my Octane 93 is a little different to what you guys get, well according to Lund it is anyway.
But it is that hard mid-range punch is why I am upgrading OPG's this thing punches so damn hard, it is shocking, even 5th gear.
Out of interest what timing are you guys making WOT on 93 and E85 on your optimised tunes?
I am at 29-30.![]()
Ah 29-30 is my max which it seems to hold 6000-7700rpm, 2500rpm seems around 24 and it slowly builds from there.30* at 2500 34* max at 7000.
Mine knocked above 25* midrange at 0.85 PE lambda and those op cam angles I sent you.Seeing 30 or better through midrange to upper rpm on 93
