So if at 8k what's the harm of a 80-90% duty cycle ? If on 47s the cycle is at 50% it's still the same amount of fuel and not leaning out , no apparent loss In power I would assume.

80-90% is fine but at 100% they go static and normally the car starts to lean out from commanded. Mine is close but I log my car almost daily and its holding commanded PE lambda just fine but if I threw the GT350 manifold on mine with stock injectors it would be at 100% by around 6800 and would go lean as rpms went above that because big airflow increases up top. I plan on going FI so I'm going to go at least ID1000s at that point on E-85.

80% is about what I'd feel comfortable with. 85% and I might start to worry a little. 90% for me would be too much. I think most people are just playing it safe. Once I get some LTs I'll also be upgrading to 47s.

So for benefit of the doubt and since I already have them, I will be installing the 47lb injectors just for when shit hits the fan I want that flow there.

Bottom line is the final question. Does the GT 350 TB really give improved throttle response? If so how much is worth swapping and buying one for if the power gains are marginal if any.

Also to my knowledge both the stock tb and the gt350 are Drive by wire and what Lund told me was that all throttle responsiveness is controlled solely by the tune.

Just being cautious at this point, I don't want to buy $120 worth of snake oil.

Let me know what yall think.

If it gives improved throttle response great, if it makes the throttle over-sensitive and jumpy then I will not be happy. I suspect however it will be super response but also super smooth as Ford designed the GT 350 as a road and track racer, where smooth throttle is absolute insanely important to keep the car balanced mid corner.

Customs still not cleared my kit, Lund already sent my new tune, just waiting for the parts to clear customs now.

I thought Sandeale already tested both the GT350 TB and the stock GT TB and saw literally no improvements? And I'm not hatin' on the 350 TB, just looking for other guys results myself.

Increased throttle response yes. The tune is about 80% spot on. I'm swapping back to the stock 80mm though. The surging in some situations is so bad the car starts bucking horribly. Lund told me Jr spent 2 weeks on this and it's as good as it gets.

I've poured over these threads and I believe that how well the GT350 TB works is completely dependent on the tuner. Some are getting good results, others not so much. Ford obviously knows how to make it work well since it comes in two of their Performance Pack kits.

I agree with you on this. So my tuner keeps telling me I'm fine with stock inj, I'm fbo with gt350 intake and TB. I'll be porting my intake and going to e85flex. I have the 47s but he keeps telling me im ok and had plenty of room last time they checked. Idk what is going on and why some are lean and some aren't.

8.4 maybe nitropropane since it carries so much extra O2
Yeah I'm at 9.78 any richer stoich with PE lambda at 0.85 and I'm out of injector. Anyone running any high flow manifolds on E-85 with stock injectors is asking for for possible disaster from running too lean.
