Just incase anyone wants to know Mmr seems to have the cheapest price for the intake and they have an adapter to use the stock throttle body. Just came across this

That's a *great* price on the I/M.

Since some other folks have said they found the GT350 TB for <$120, does it make any sense to spend $70 and use what I'd assume was a much less optimal TB for the intake? I mean, $50 is $50, but in the grand scheme of spending ~$1200 all said and done, it's not all that significant.

I guess you also have to do something to adapt your intake, so $50-60 plus some additional hassle[?]

Considering the gt350 throttle body is so cheap and larger than the stock one I think it would be nonsense doing anything otherwise. I agree MaskedRacerX

Is there a way to put the gt350 tb on the stock mani?

Not really a reason to. The stock one is more than sufficient.

From the measurements sandeale did on the bolt patterns it wouldn't make sense to put it on the stock manifold as the bolt pattern is wider so the plate you'd have to make to attach it would bottle neck the gt350 throttle body likely and make any possible gains almost unmeasurable.

Anybody know if the GT350 throttle body will fit a boss intake?

How big of a difference would there be if I kept the stock TB and used the adaptor instead of purchasing the 350 TB? And I currently have the JLT intake on my car, I would assume I need a bigger adapter if I used the 350 TB?

Using the stock tb, is pretty much negating the im swap, the gt350 tb is only 100 bucks more than the adapter (depending on where its acquired from)
As far as the intake, all you should need in order to use it with the gt350 tb is a straight 4inch coupler

That's what I figured, was just double checking. Thanks for the reply bro. Waiting on that tax return lol
