Looking to upgrade to the Gt350 upgrade kit on a 17GT PP. has anyone done this before? If yes.. any pain points in the conversion? Would the stock PP wheels work with this? Thank you much in advance for your feedback.

I am looking to do this eventually too...stock PP wheels will not clear. Other than that looks fairly straight forward.

Do they not fit cause of the clearance with the barrel of the wheel or the spokes not clearing near the hub? Any idea? If it's the spokes then a spacer would easily fix that.

I believe the front brakes will hit the barrel of the wheel. It will also make the rear about 5/16" out farther on each side because of the drum parking brake that bolts between the wheel bearing and the knuckle.

No S550 has drum brakes. The e brake controls the rear discs...:headbonk:

The parking brake on the GT350 is Drum which pushes out the wheel 5/16". The GT350 uses a fixed caliper front and rear.

Your right. That is why I said "drum parking brake"!

The GT350 doesn't have the parking brake integrated into the calipers.

It's awesome Ford is offering this kit for so cheap! Way better than going with a brembo, stoptech, wilwood, etc...

I think he's probably referring to the brembo gt brakes that are $4k. If you wanted to do front and back, that's $8k.
