Just wondering if anyone was experiencing uneven front tire wear? I printed the specs from factory and see it is very aggressive. Was wondering if anyone had used different numbers? As I'm not tracking the car often

It is pretty popular, especially on a street car, to run pretty darn close to 0° toe, maayyybbeee a touch of toe in. Toe in on a street car adds stability, and doesn't take much. Negative camber does not kill the inside of your tire, thus up to -2° is not horrible for a street car.

Thanks for the info 👍 I'm going to try the specs for a regular gt as those are closer to what you suggested compared to the 350 for sure

From memory, my factory toe was -1.6. It was too late before I realized I needed to adjust it when I discovered at 11,000 miles my front tires were ruined with about a half inch width of tread down to the cords on the inside of the tires. I am now at a .02 to a .03 and I’ve managed to get so far 4000 more miles out of the front tires.

I'm a big believer in getting a good alignment done within a few weeks of getting a car or new tires. And I'm not trying to be a jerk but I can't imagine wanting to dumb down the handling of a GT350. The tradeoff of marginally more tire wear is outweighed by the precision and enjoyment of driving a high performance vehicle set up as intended. I've had the track spec alignment on my 350R since I bought it and love everything about it. Even when commuting or on a long roadtrip it feels perfect to me.

same. but new front tires every year is a little pricy but I consider it the cost of entry for great turn-in on this car on good roads around me. I could be convinced to do a less aggressive alignment if lots of road trips are in my future. Its a trade off. I thought negative camber was the biggest issue for inside tire wear, but people here are saying the Toe is? Interesting.

When i first installed my 350R camber plates, I had them set track alignment like this. maybe a bit too aggressive for street. Top was Factory stock alignment (which looks a bit off from factory eh?). Bottom was my first track alignment at a ford dealer in Washington.

While I was getting my first new set of Cup2s at 11k miles, Galpin auto sport in LA sent my car to a micky mouse alignment shop where they proceeded to damage my strut towers when trying to go back to stock. Those guys are Morons. I only trusted them because they have changed tires on carbon fiber wheels on new Ford GTs in the area but they sent my car to a CRAP alignment shop down the street that took two days ( they couldnt figure out how to do the rear - and made me come back a second day LOL) and damaged the car

"Chewerks" race shop alignment guy in Socal area laughed at the shitty damage and shitty job Galpin did and then proceeded to set my car up like this in July 2024. Slightly less aggressive than track. Feels great! I'm on my 3rd set of OEM 2019 R Cup2s on the rear and 4th set on the front after 23k miles and lots of canyon driving since moving from Washington where car was purchased down to the LA area. I will report back with front tire wear in a year :)

Just to provide some additional data, maybe less applicable due to the fact I only put less than 1k miles per year and replace tires every 4 years before they are worn out. Here are my alignment specs for street…makes car very stable at speed straight line, great turn in and rotation, and planted in corners….for the street. I tried slight toe out in front originally and on highway it wandered a little to much. So this was best compromise for normal and spirited driving. FWIW. Very similar to Melown’s settings.

My 2016 wore the front tires down to the cords on the inner edges of both fronts by 10k miles. Had camber bolts installed and an alignment with no toe in or out and now no cording and have even wear. Does not handle quite as good, but my club racing days are over.
