Before getting my head chewed off about the 'search' function, I'd like to say that I have searched this topic extensively and haven't found satisfying results about the GT PP. I know people are having brake squeal with the regular GT and the EB PP, but I am experiencing the same squeal with the brembos. Sometimes it is a high-pitched whine, and other times it is a sort of harmonic resonance (like when you rub your finger on the rim of a glass cup). Like the other brake issues, it usually only occurs when braking at low speed. Can anyone validate this?

Does your car stop well from very high speed? Do you experience any brake fade ever? If you answered Yes and No then your brakes are perfect. :headbang:

That's the thread for brake squeal for those who have a GT w/PP. Ford will say it's normal but your brakes shouldn't constantly squeal. You're probably going to have to kick and scream because people are going to tell you that it's normal for Brembos to squeal but then why aren't all of them doing it? Good Luck!

i had the same issue after getting my front springs done. The heat shields on the front brakes easily slip down a little bit and can rub the rotors.

I had the PP brake 'squeal' from about 8k to 13k miles.. now at 15k it seems to be gone, for now.

As for the harmonic resonance, I experience that too every once in a while when I have the wheels cut sharp (parking) and apply the brakes.

It hasn't really bothered me much, so I never did scream at Ford about it.
