What is their error code, I did not appear,Now just start delay。:(My Mustang was at the Ford dealership for 24 days. There were error codes indicating a timing problem with the right exhaust cam. The phaser solenoid was replaced but the same error code reappeared. A new phaser was ordered but the new flex to torque bolts for the new phaser were longer than the original bolts and when installed caused a problem. The part number was correct but after many calls to Ford tech with no result the local Ford dealer was able to obtain the correct length bolts from another Ford dealer. Apparent problems with packaging as the bolts had the same correct part number printed on envelope even though bolts were different lengths. The new phaser was installed with the correct length length bolts. I got the Mustang back 4 days ago and I no longer have the "long crank problem" but I will monitor starting and performance. I am interested in the fuel octane change from 93 to 87. The owners manual says to use 87 octane but Ford tech said it was not an issue.
Your question is how to disappear, there is no exchange for # 87 gasoline?Mine has gone away
My Harley did this on warm starts. I had to install compression releases, as I built up the motor to a Stage III midrange power band which called for high compression. I didn't want to do the compression releases and instead installed a stronger starter but the starter clutch died every 6 months so I sucked it up. Obviously a new car should not require something like this, or have something like this if it does (to relieve compression for a second so the start sequence can happen). Very different engines of course but my bike would just fight to start and when it did, fine. If it was cold, you'd have to warm it up before it'd idle right but that was the bleeding edge tune I had and the compression talking. Thing ripped up sport bikes like a boss. Sold it because riding a motorcycle in Atlanta is signing up for a nasty death. Anywho... what's the compression on these guys? Maybe a few got manufactured with too thin gasket causing a smaller compression chamber (if that's how the engine is designed, I don't know). I know minuscule difference from that but... cars are tight tolerance these days so you never know. I'm just babbling... I can work a Harley engine and a Kia Spectra engine, that's all I know, haha.i thought it was random, but then it would happen every time the engine was warmed up the shut off for +-15min. try this to see if it happens.
start car take a 10 - 15 minute (easy drive) get it to normal running temp
once at temp park & shut car off for 10 - 15 min
try to start again
did you get the long crank issue?
