Only options are to click a few buttons on your steering wheel controls or flip the car into sport/track mode if you have the switches.

They should have made easier for us to put the car into different exhaust models and save them. Its not like normal mode doesn't already start the car up loud anyways lol.

Personally I only like quiet mode and track mode.

Thank you, so flipping the toggle switches changes the exhaust mode as well? I thought it was driving mode only.

My 2022 does yes.

I have my car always start in quiet mode. Then I usually just flip the switch to sport mode and it gives me the loud exhaust (and other sport settings). I can also flip it to track and get track exhaust but that turns traction control off. I usually just settle for sport.

Say what? Track mode turns off TC?

I believe so. I get the traction control turned off light in my dash.

Are you taking about track exhaust or track mode?

Set it to sport mode, change the exhaust to track and save the settings as MyMode. You'll get that track use only message when you go to MyMode, but I don't know a way around that.

That is not a option for me as I have a GT premium without the digital dash. MyMode does not exist.

You know, that’s a good point. I’m talking about My Mode, into which I’ve programmed track exhaust. I typically use drag strip mode when I feel the need but I dont believe it turns off TC. I’ll have to try track mode and see what happens.

I actually just tired it. Drag strip mode puts the exhaust in track with traction control turned on. Which is kind of weird. I would think drag strip mode would turn it off and track mode would keep it on.

One sure would think that. Tell the truth, I’ve read every thread here that I can find about what turns TC and ESC on and off and there really doesn’t seem to be total consensus. Evidently just because one or both of the lights are off doesn’t necessarily mean that function is all the way off. In fact, some have said that you can’t turn both off 100% no matter what you do. It’s one heck of a rabbit hole to go down if you’re trying to figure out what really happens.

From my own experience I can say that if I’m doing a dig in Drag Strip mode (without disabling TC) I sometimes get a slight bog between my A10 shifts. If I disable TC in DS mode it shifts at ~7500 and spins the skins between 1-2 and 2-3. Don’t know about 3-4 because around here I run out of road before my 3.15s get there. I should add that in the interest of safety and respect for aging (but still pretty good) reflexes I keep ESC enabled. It doesn’t seem to have hurt the pull but I’m sure it would cut either fuel or timing if the spinning between shifts turned into tail-happiness.

Track mode doesn't completely disable TC, but turns it down one notch - hence the warning light on the dash. After you switch to Track you can still toggle the TC switch, which will display the "traction control off" message. Only then is it really off.
I think it makes sense for the TC to be on in Drag mode. The whole point of the Drag mode is to give you the best possible traction, which happens right at (or just slightly above) the limit of grip. It's supposed to allow you to move without spinning the wheels too much. I imagine it relies on the TC to pull this off.
