Got my car

Got my car and drove it all day.

Yes I know you want to see pictures, I have lots but not with my M5. I'm sure if I post the pictures here, no one will believe it's real, the only way you'll believe me is if I post a picture of both cars side by side. I will do that as soon as I can.

Anyways, here is what I think:

- I have received more attention in 24 hours in this car than I have all years of my BMW M cars driving combined
- The sound is insane
- The suspension is amazing, in normal mode its more comfortable than my M5 in Comfort, in sport mode, it's stiffer than my M5 by a long shot
- The features (apple play, navigation, dual zone A/C, etc) is just simply unreal for a car at this price point
- Clutch is very soft
- Transmission is the best I have seen and I have driven the metzger 997 GT3s and the new GT4. This is better than both cars

My only true gripe is and it's not really a fault of the car, but let's call it "wish list", is BMW has this cool feature where when you put the car in reverse, the side view mirror tilts down, I wish this car had that feature.

Overall, I am extremely happy. I am also so glad that I didn't get the R, I cannot imagine how I would DD that car seeing how loud this car is and how many times I have already scraped the undercarriage even after trying a 45 degree exit angle.

One last word, thank you for putting up with me all these months. In the end, I am truly happy and I am smiling.

Oh and before I leave, my car's paint is perfect, believe it or not my panel gaps are all spot on (front bumper, back bumper, all quarter panels). It's almost like Ford heard all my complaints and made this perfect car for me and said "give us another chance".

Alright, I am going to go look at the car again sitting my garage. So cool right next to my M5!

If you truly did get the car, congrats and enjoy it! I think you may be over exaggerating the transmission though, nothing is better than a Porsche gearbox.

I drove the GT3 extensively and I think the clutch on the metzger is extremely stiff and the transmission itself is very very notchy. You have to really slam it, there is no way you can daily drive it (compared to this).

GT4 on the other hand is the complete other opposite. It has very short shifts, and what I mean by short is very short. Maybe its a personal thing but I never liked it.

GT350 is the perfect combination in my opinion. I truly adore the transmission.

I seriously got the car, I am not lying. What would I?

Oh and I love the gas tank cap which doesnt require you to screw anything. So smart.

Lastly, the brakes.... I forgot to mention the brakes... Now I know what all the fuss was about these brakes! They are simply amazing. I looked around but couldn't find any burnishing instructions. Do they need to be broken in any specific way?

I thought about that, but I can't really post just the price (wouldnt be believable if took a picture and cut around the area and only showed you price) and I dont want to post anything else without giving private info away. Believe what you want, but I didnt pay markup.

GT4's manual is better than GT350's manual. Don't refute with me... I know more than you.

This thread isn't worth zilch without pics of your 350 with you in it and holding the bill of sale and revealing your VIN and which dealer you got it from. No redacting allowed. Nothing less will do. ;)

Look at my other thread, I am giving away the same car @ sticker to another forum member. If I paid ADM, why would I do that?

I will write a piece of paper that says "MCarsFan", put it on the hood, and take a picture.

Is that good enough?
