I drove the GT3 extensively and I think the clutch on the metzger is extremely stiff and the transmission itself is very very notchy. You have to really slam it, there is no way you can daily drive it (compared to this).

GT4 on the other hand is the complete other opposite. It has very short shifts, and what I mean by short is very short. Maybe its a personal thing but I never liked it.

GT350 is the perfect combination in my opinion. I truly adore the transmission.

I seriously got the car, I am not lying. What would I?

Oh and I love the gas tank cap which doesnt require you to screw anything. So smart.

Lastly, the brakes.... I forgot to mention the brakes... Now I know what all the fuss was about these brakes! They are simply amazing. I looked around but couldn't find any burnishing instructions. Do they need to be broken in any specific way?

My wife has a 2016 550i with the M package/suspension, and we love it. Before that, we had a 335is with the DCT and M package. We love BMW's and she's always had one while I've had the more sports car/Muscle car.

Funny you should mention the mirrors tilting, I actually hate that option and have it turned off (unless I'm really tight on a curb which I never am).

But what is my biggest pet peeve about my 550i? The fact that it always is forced to start in ECO model and we have to dial up the regular and Sport mode. So essentially, we paid a decent amount over a standard 528i car for the 450HP bi-turbo motor so we could enjoy the power, but have to make an effort to switch modes every single time we start the car. If you are not thinking about it (like my wife usually isn't, lol) it's like we're just driving a 528, and the car automatically turns shuts off at traffic lights and re-starts when you go (which is another thing that pisses me off as in Florida it's HOT). If I wanted an eco car, I would have bought one dammit! But overall it's a great car.

The same problem with M5, you start the car, it's always in efficient mode! It's the same thing with any BMW, M2, M3, M4, M5, M6. They all have this problem with memorizing the "default" mode. It has been that way since the beginning.

I have to tell you that both me and my wife was extremely surprised how comfortable this car is in the normal mode. With the exhaust in normal mode, it is actually much quieter than my M5 with the aftermarket exhaust.

Honestly, I just want to see pictures of your car to see what color/options you got. I'll take your word that you got a GT350. If you are just pulling our legs, then it's your loss, because you don't have a Gt350. It's a blast!

Given all previous posts, while not saying he did this, keep in mind that any one on this forum could create a fantasy GT350 journey, including pics. Unwillingness to provide iron clad proof only heightens suspicion. It is only demanded by a reasonably skeptical public based on past performance. The very fact that you all are even willing to accept him if he did indeed purchase one bespeaks the comradery engendered by this type of vehicle. Personally don't care if it is proven or not but it is entertaining. Mildly.
