I have PP GT with 3.73 gears and I'm lucky if I get 14 mpg and I'm still babying the car

Read all the comments. I'm wonder if this is going to be the norm

I do drive up and down a lot of hills. Was hoping maybe 18-20mpg but I guess it is what it is. Maybe it's too early bc I only drive city and car only has 300 miles on it

Your car hasn't broken in yet so mpg should go up a little. I found that lugging the engine makes mileage suffer. 6th is really high so I only use it for hwy cruising.

My lifetime at almost 5k miles is at 16.9. I got 18.1 on my V6 at 11k miles, not too bad so far.

I had a 350-mile road trip this week for business, all in one day. Got gas as I was leaving home, and reset the computer. As I pulled back into the driveway, I was on 28.5 mpg. Combination of about 25% freeway and 75% 2-lane state highway.

No complaints.

GT PP here -- finally got over 1000 miles, and I'm finally occasionally getting better than the EPA ratings overall -- I'll bomb around town, and lose all I've saved in cruise on the highway, and then do another trip on the highway using cruise, and get back over -- I've not yet seen more than 21 overall. I am taking a drive from Maryland to Indiana at the end of the month -- I'll most assuredly get over 21 then -- I'm not sure that I'll get as high as 28-29, though it seems like it might be possible. I think over 30 for the trip will happen, for sure.

I'm sure you're mileage will increase after you pass 1000 miles. When I took delivery, mine was at 8.6 mpg, and now with a little over 1100, I'm finally beating the EPA ratings on occasion. I'm hoping things continue to improve up to about 1500 miles.

I averaged 27 mpg on my 1500 mile trip, not bad. I was driving with a heavy foot, average speed 75-85 MPH when traffic allowed. I was also stopped for a while (border crossing/traffic/construction). I wish we had cylinder deactivation - that would increase the numbers by a bit.

I had a 335i (F30) w/ 300 HP/300 TQ that got at best 37 mpg on the highway. Before that, I had a CLS 63 (W219) w/ 507 HP/465 TQ that got at best 26 mpg on the highway.

I purchased my 2016 GT PP 6M two weeks ago. Drove 175 miles home from SC to NC and averaged 28.5 MPG doing 65 MPH all the way on interstate;

Averaging about 18.5-19 MPG so far local mixed driving, not bad at all for a V8, blows my V6 JK Wrangler away, LOL!

So far I'm averaging 21.2 with mixed city/highway driving. I was averaging around 24.6 with my Ecoboost.
