^^^This.

I went from a 10.2 @ 138 to a 9.8 @139 on my last car. Only change was better/lighter tires, a "race alignment" which cost $800 once i bought the right parts needed, and better burn out technique. Zero changes to power. 60' went from a 1.6 to a 1.4. That's why i plan to work on my track duty with my current 93 octane setup before moving to e85 and mo powa.

Congrats Dominant, I want to see 10's out of one of these 500whp motors!
Haha this is what seperates the races from the drama dyno queens haha!!

I envy both your setups. My poor baby is just sitting in my garage while im on active duty. :headbonk:

hp.

Not taking anything away from anyone but Im just trying to point out how far a well sorted chassis and weight reduction goes instead of everyone just focusing on big HP numbers!
Yes, weight reduction is huge and the DA can be helpful as well. But the right combination of parts dialed in is everything. Getting to the track a lot to sort things out, dial things in, learning what techniques work best, and so on all get the car quicker. It is rare that the first pass in a car is the best pass it will ever make.

My car only made it to the track once. It has an E85 tune, lighter than stock 20" wheels, NT05R drag radials, full exhaust, 4C converter, and an aluminum driveshaft. It made like 410/378 on the dyno. Nothing impressive. But went 11.7 @ 116 that first time out. It had shifting issues and was misfiring in 3rd gear. So there is room for improvement. The tune and converter probably making the most difference in ET. So a car with almost 100 more rwhp I would hope to see time slips in the high 10 / low 11 range with 122-124 mph. Like he said before, I'm sure he will clip off ET every time out as it gets dialed in.

I used the 'track app' feature. 12.2 @ a buck sixteen. 700ft DA, 20% humidity, 21c ambient, around 3800 total weight, 235 P-zeros @ 20 psi rear, 32psi front, big burn out, nannies off. Not sure how accurate it is, but that's the 2nd time it ran that on the same private road.

Wait... The track app gives you DA & humidity?

Anyways for some talking about the 12-13 BOSS Cyl.Head vs gen2 Cyl.Head,
straight from Ford:

Cylinder Heads: The 2015-17 Coyote (Gen 2)
cylinder heads have improved ports and larger valves
– and flow as good as the 2012-2013 Boss 302 CNC
ported heads.

And for the gen2 valve springs:

Valve Springs
GEN 2 valve springs are higher pressure that the
standard Gen 1 spring - and are the same valve
spring as used on the 2012-13 Boss 302 Coyote
engines

• BOSS 302R Valve Springs PN – M-6513-M50BR

Edit extra info:
• 8000 RPM capable
• up too 13mm valve lift

I was thinking about getting a set of stage 3 ported heads but changed my mind. going with Hellions new twin 62 precision turbos with the extra impeller blade for quicker spooling! My Motor has everything it needs to handle the power. Goal is 800 rwhp 700 torque!! Eta next spring!!
