Mine is being tuned for flex fuel as we speak using 93+ octane booster and vp racing x-85 but mine is an auto!

Good Luck! Keep us posted on that, I would like to see comparisons especially the X-85.

Auto car will be faster... not as much at the wheels....

Did you use valve springs? What are you revving it to?
Congrats!
Stock Boss valve springs and only took it to 7800-7900. The interesting part is once it hits peak... it flatlines and carries the HP

For those who have followed Jon Jr. from Lund tuned the car with FLP in Milford Ohio.

Here is what I can say to this subject... Just bolting on the parts WILL NOT get you to this HP... These tunes are not "canned" tunes.... when they started out off of another base CJ tune with over 500whp, my car was not there. Jon Jr. made revisions to cam timing and worked his magic, hats off to him.

This is the reason that back in the day some cars screamed with "packages" and others did not. There are too many variables between cars. The dyno tune is where it is at....
Glad to hear they actually dialed in VCT, as it is a must.

Badass man! Nice to see someone having all this done. I'd like to see those torque numbers a little higher. I wonder if the GT350 would do a little better with the IMRC still active, but less peak HP. Got me really thinking about cams when I do OPGs and all that.

Have an idle video yet?

Here is a good comparison for those who know dyno numbers are tools. Here is where we started and ended up.....

at 7400 rpm that's roughly 130whp difference?

uploading video for those who have followed the thread, Thanks....
What were you using as a baseline there?

Baseline was stock IM, full ARH Exhaust and Lund tune.....

Then to OPG, Cams, CJ IM, CJ Twin 65......

That makes sense. It seems these CAMs really shine with the CJ intake manifold. Probably going to see little gains on a car with the stock intake manifold. VCT tuning also is huge. I saw 15WHP on my stock GT with just VCT adjustments.

Imrc make no difference at wot, once you pass the wot threshold in the tune the imrcs go full open, and to the op congrats on the numbers

I've said that zillion times - stock S550 springs are OK for Stage 3 Comps - no need to change them.

This is awesome! Exactly what I was waiting for. I will probably see what I get with the comp stage 3's and GT350 IM first. Then move to the CJ setup if I don't break the 500whp mark. Of course some dyno's are happier then others but this at least proves the CJ + comp cam setup can certainly break 500whp on stock heads with e85 no matter who's dyno. The numbers were SAE too, nice! Looks like I might have to set up a remote tuning session with Lund when the time comes too.

Can you round up for dyno error and call it 525whp with 400wtq?
:first: I thought I would check on this thread while my toes are buried in some sand. :D

Like you said, additional cam tuning is required for combos like this and the guys at Lund pulled through that's for sure. This car will pull like a freight train.

Thank you...

With that being said.... this dyno usually reads low... this is from others also. I didn't expect this... before Lund started working the tune... I was thinking I was going to be lucky to make 500. The car was hot, back to back pulls and IAT was over 100. The cam timings came through at the end....

Bob... bring me back some sand! LOL

I can't wait to run it.... On the stock tires my best was 12.2@117.... so I have to run on the stock tires again to get a fair comparison, although the weather isn't as nice and cool. I hope it pulls hard!

Very nice job! Glad to see you hit and even exceeded 500hp N/A mark haha. I have a very similar setup at the moment full ARH system, CJ manifold with twin 67mm throttle body and 47lb injectors. Might have to get a hold of some cams now and install OPGs and CS in one swing ;)
