And she will continue to think it goes to the shop for minor tunes!!!:gossip:

Ok... no added NVH.... wait.. wrong thread lol

Here is what I can tell so far... It use to "buck" occasionally in first gear, it actually feels better if that makes sense or I haven't hit that spot yet....

Drives like stock, seems the cam lope is gone now.../I liked the cam lope?:(

It as GTBob says pulls hard up top... and maybe hits gears harder...placebo effect:shrug:

Now it seems my tach doesn't go high enough:ford:

But so far it drives wonderful.... stockish if you guys believe that. Throttle doesn't seem as touchy, I thought it would be too sensitive. The old setup seem "touchier"......

Oh, not having JPC do it? I'm definitely curious to see what you make at Rev. I have a dyno sheet from there I can compare. They took about 3 or 4 days to do mine and drivability is good but not perfect. Depending on how they do with yours I may have them tune mine once I get a set of cams.

I bet having Lunds full focus on it, he was able to really dial it in

Please dont be the ohh just slap some boost on it and call it a day type of guy......:tsk:

I appreciate the all motor builds and love seeing these types of builds. over 130whp @7400 rpm this car gained is insane.

Making 500whp all motor then feed it some boost would really be badass.

Yes obviously a cheap paxton kit will make more hp per dollar but i 110% believe that all motor builds are wayyy under appreciated.

500whp and a well sorted chassis is easily a deep 10 second car with a fairly simple drama free combination here.

Not everything needs to be big hp dyno queen that barely runs 10s with a boost
I appreciate NA builds; however, there is always a trade off. Drivability is almost always first. Though, to be fair, I am a former Chevy guy so I was not sure what to expect with the Coyote. I'm learning that the Mustang is full of surprises.

Now a days, I'm figuring what gets me a fun ride that doesnt sacrifice too much as far as a drivers car. This isn't a dedicated racer.

I think this is a huge misconception with the DOHC vs an LSanything for example. The coyote with cams will not behave and "suffer" down low and lug or lope with the VCT/VVT.

As time goes on and as tuners get better and better manipulating the VCT/VVT the better they will be and the better the street manners will be so to say. lets be honest the coyote is still a pretty new engine.

If you havnt looked at the enginelabs article on how much of an impact the VCT/VVT has on engine performance throughout the rpm band you should. The differences are gigantic using vs. without.

Im sure the Lund tune and getting it right has a big impact on this build as it would even more so with any NA build.

Id expect the margin or error to be less and even the smallest changes would be very noticable while driving it.

See, adjust the VCT at idle, cams should idle like stock. The twin 65 are good for driveability, comparable to the stock throttle body, unlike the GT350 TB and Monoblade. No surprise it drives smoother. Can you notice the loss in a good bit of torque at low rpm?

I have about 20 miles on it. The only place I have noticed a little difference is in 6th gear, about 60mph and around 2000 rpm, when I give it gas it may have lost a little pull there. I think the 3.73's may hide it a little.

The driving I did yesterday was normal driving, except for one pull of getting on the highway. It really did drive like stock. As I get more seat time I may notice more differences. I do like the throttle response in first off of lights. Seems easier to manage now and less jerky.

This is a picture of the hood "modification"
I really like how that looks. Out of curiosity, are you keeping the hood liner off because it doesn't fit or you don't want to put it back on? With the exception of the Ford Racing logos and the hood line, you can almost say that looks factory. Damn fine job sir.
