Fwiw the stock coyote runs 5-15 deg timing at idle. Ghost cam is done by commanding cam angles with a lot of overlap. It was in the stock track key tune of the boss 302, but ford did a better job with it than aftermarket tuners. They used dashpot instead of target n idle control, which helped stability, and they included modified o2 sensor offsets so it couldn’t run as rich.

Yes it will run the car, but not very well.
AV gas specifically designed for ICE aircraft engines follow the sames qualifiers for road going fuels. Cept for zero ethanol, and a few anti-knock additives.

It's got a lower vapor pressure so it doesn't vapor lock at altitude., Don't take my word for it.

https://www.rockettbrand.com/downloads/tech_bulletins/Tech-Racing Gasoline vs. AvGas.pdf

Summary: Don't substitute Aviation Gasoline for racing gasoline unless your race engine operates at 10,000 feet altitude, and does not exceed 2800 RPM. Many racers see Aviation Gasoline (AvGas) as a way to reduce the cost of their racing operation.Mar 31, 2013

It might run with fuel injection but it is worthless with carbs.

I tried it back in the 70's, it needed larger jets and even when jetted properly broke up after 6500 Rpm and had so much lead it ruined plugs. Maybe they changed it but I doubt it.

If it works for you that's a good thing.

Shrader performance offers a ghost cam tune and I have tried it. Lower vacuum at idle, changes cam timing for a lope, air fuel ratio is close to stock, only effects the car at idle and then reverts to the regular performance tune. Only use it at car shows as the transition from idle to car movement is a not as smooth as not having the ghost cam, once you get going it has no effect on the car. I prefer the smoother off idle transition of the regular performance tune but the car acts no different with the lope idle tune than if you had really changed the cams for a high lift long duration cam. It is not a severe transition but just not as smooth as without the lope idle tune.

100LL has less lead in it than leaded fuels of the 60’s and 70’s. (.56g/L). 100LL is 95% all the same chemicals as standard leaded race fuel. It has a true MOTOR octane of 100 at sea level.

The reasons why there’s articles against it is because those are mostly all put out by race fuel companies and agencies that frown upon its usage in automobiles because of the EPA and it’s not taxed like road fuels. Race fuel companies want you to buy their race fuels for $75-100.00/5 gal cans, not $4.85-$6.25/gal for something almost just as effective.

I’ve run it off and on mixed 50/50 with 93 octane for the past 25 years. At 50/50, it has the effective R+M/2 octane of about 96-97. Newer NTK O2 sensors will withstand this blend for roughly 26-30,000K miles.
