Currently 10 hours from home, flew to NY to buy a 2019 GT with a whipple. The car hasn’t been driven more than 200 miles in the past year. It’s sat with 93 in it. It misfires random cylinders at WOT. Spark plugs were changed, and then the exhaust started to smoke.
I have some pictures and videos. Tell me what you think, I’m a hotel for the night before deciding what to do.
5k miles on the car, 2k on the build. Currently on 93, fore return, Lund tune. Smoke didnt look blue, didn’t smell like oil.

If you went wot on old gas that is a very bad thing. I would do a compression test while the plugs were out

Have you pulled any logs? I would check your fuel trims bank to bank. If it's a fuel issue, typically one bank will greatly overcompensate from the other if theres a hung or leaky injector.

I would suspect if it's sat a long time, the injectors could be either clogged or leaking. When one of my direct injectors went out, it was more obvious on the plugs, I had one that was very saturated and 7 that looked lightly browned, but I'm on E85 and don't have the carbon build up like a pump gas car. Were any of the plugs wet, like saturated with fuel? Clean the plugs up or get new ones and toss them in and run it for a short period, then pull them and see if any of them vary after the clean up.

If you find one or more of them more saturated than the others, I would pull the port injectors first as they're easiest to get to and have them cleaned. If the misfire persists, likely it's the direct injectors, which would require pulling the whipple manifold entirely. They can also be cleaned, but are typically more expensive.

Logs would definitely tell the story if fuel related.

A bad coil could also cause a misfire, along with old fuel.

Just figure out what the easiest things to check first would be and go from there. Your tuner should be able to at least maybe get you pointed in the right direction.

I would walk away from that one, fly back home and caulk up to bad luck. Maybe when it’s sorted fly back out.
Even if this issue is sorted out, what’s the likelihood it’s caused damage? He thinks it’s the valve seals now. But I thought that was cylinder specific.

Sounds fine but the idle is a bit high. May be tune related. Could run some redline fuel system cleaner through it, datalog it, and see whats up if its feeling ok. The "Smoke" may just be condensation from the humid weather conditions. Datalog it and ask the tuner. Lots of tuners turn off some stuff that causes a flashing check engine light at WOT. Was your light flashing or steady ?
