After recently refinishing my garage floor with a colored epoxy treatment (Ford Corporate Blue), I decided to experiment with some Garage Floor Graphics. Originally, I planned to put down these graphics after 12 hours after applying the colored coat of Epoxy and ending with a thick coat of clear on top of everything. After consideration, I changed from this permanent approach to a more temporary approach, (applying the vinyl without the clear top coat. The main reason I did it this way was that I would probably want to change the graphics after maybe 1-3 years, and it would be a lot easier to do this without grinding off the top clear coat of epoxy.
I added some traction compound crystals to my epoxy mix this time as previous experience with a wet epoxy floor was extremely slippery. I was very surprised that the vinyl graphics stuck so well to the epoxy finish. It literally looked like it was painted on and that is really how vinyl graphics are supposed to look.
How long is this going to look this good? Good question, I expect 1-3 years, as I am pretty particular about my garage floor and always wipe-up spills and debris.
I’ve worked with vinyl lettering over 20 years part time, acquiring almost every logo, and vector clip art imaginable, along with my vinyl cutters. Seeing this as a possible interest for some may lead me to provide some garage floor design/graphics kits available for sale.

These particular graphic measurements are:
Ford Logo: 72”w x 23”h, PERFORMANCE: 83” w x 11”h, Cobra: 62”w x 38”h
