Fuse 27 - EB Fake noise

It's not opinion its fact pulling the fuse and poif no more sound and I'm not buying my LE to horde it away under a silk sheet hoping I can make a few bucks. Its getting DD and eventually a SC then I'll give it to my kid. [emoji106]

and no more radio, would you live without radio? maybe there is a way to defeat it in one of the menus no one has seen.. thank you for your concern about a car you will never own..

if not there will be a way to defeat the sound. i have something like it in my gti. has not been enough of an issue for me to mess with..

and take this for what it is worth.. do not cut your exhaust. wait till you can get a cat back. then put the stock exhaust aside. ask anyone here with an older limited edition anything. i make the mistake on a 66 k model.

bam, i just saved you 1k in depreciacion. and you can sell your cat back, now you got an extra 1.5k in your pocket.

but it is your life, you seem to have everything figured out. ;)

i am hardly retired, though i have managed to only work three days a week. work smart and less is my idea of getting through life.

since you brought it up. thanks for your service for out country. my father flew rescue missions over vn in sandys. it lead to his demise. so i really do thank you!

as to living if fla. it sux not. i might retire next year, at the ripe old age of 55. but i doubt it, would just have much more time to hound you!!!!! :lol: i do have time to read all the posts here. i just keep stumbling across you telling everyone to get the nav, anything other than v8 is a waste. and other such nonsense.

i have a house too, i am sitting in my spa over looking my pool listing to pandora as i type this, so dont feel sorry for me.. if you need proof of life on that i will post it up.

the 66k model that i mentioned before, kind of a point about not hacking up a limited edition car. i inherited it in 75 when my father died. it was my first car and i knew everything.. as my sig says i wish i had never touched it.

this is not my first internet car launch. things are all just speculation till people have been driving them for 6 months, that is when the truth comes out. so right now the hurry to be right is a waste of time..

there have been others lately politely suggesting you tone it down a bit, since you called me out i am just answering your questions..

as the fact is as the fuse kills the eco sound it also kills the radio. think you missed that, also if you buy an option for resale purpose you have wasted your money. you might get half back if you are lucky.. the fact that you missed that that cat back is behind clamps amazed me as you have been here half the time as me and have, well 10x the posts.

as to stable job, i have one. 17 years now same place. you live in springfield va? is that not nova, you might have a stable job.. ;)

now if you think this is a pissing contest, you are so wrong. i gave that up with jmateo.

i did enjoy your find on parts on american muscle. i am here to learn. i learn when i read, not when i post.

btw, the proper way to have done this would have been pm. but i bet you knew that. i kid.

guess i missed it here, but there is going to be a sub menu or a up, up, down, down, left, right. button push that disables it. if not there will be a wire snip.

this is such a huge issue, for a car that no one has driven for more than an hour at one time..

There's no need for anyone to chase you. You're easy to find, inserting your opinions and blowing up (multiple) threads that have absolutely nothing to do with your particular car. Is there a #341 fuse we can pull to silence your noise?

Isn't that what this forum is about? Discussion? Is this your first Mustang? You are getting emotional over another's opinion you're going to have a bad time. Not everyone is going to pat you on the back for buying a EB and agree with you. Welcome to the real world and I hope you prepare for the negative criticism in the real world you will receive for buying an EB. Trust me the 3.7 no matter where I went received negativity from most people no matter how many times I touted 305HP. It's life.

I'm not bashing anything. Bashing would be me sitting here saying. "The EB is for kids" or "fake audio is for losers" No I'm voicing my dislike for fake engine noise and informing people who didn't know that the audio actually does come over the speakers.

Also, I do not think the 2.3 is going to receive criticism as much as people think considering the reviews it's gotten already (being compared in one to an A5 is in my opinion the highest praise you can get in that segment) and that it's going to be Europe's main version...Ford designed a great mid level sporty car.

I mean the EB and GT shouldn't even be compared. They are two completely different purpose vehicles.

I think you're 100% right for Europe but in the US it'll be the same up hill battle the 3.7 had. When I went to view the demo 2.3 at the dealer 9/10 guys came up and laughed or had something bad to say about the 2.3. Even after I told them it's HP/TQ they still gave it crap. It was annoying and I'm not even buying one.

I told one guy that it's faster than most cars out there and he said he "didn't care it's bad enough they offer a V6 but now an I4."

The sad thing is Ford knows how bad it's going to be to try and convince some people on the EB. Just look at the ad campaign coming up. They will only advertise EcoBoost/power/fuel economy. No mention of I4 or 2.3L.

Yep I know Brent...but honestly who cares what those people think. If you love it and the buyer loves it, then that's all that matters. And you can tell these people all the positive reviews you can, they'll still dismiss it.

Usually those people are part of progress that get's left behind and then they fade into the sunset.

Ill drive both and then make my decision and be happy either way. And then you me and Grim can all meet up sometime in the near future and admire our Mustangs...EBs or GTs. ;)

Yep understood. My view was changed when I heard the Edmunds guy and the other guy in the video say they both couldn't believe they were saying it, but the EB would be the one they would buy.
