Any particular suggestions for magnetic? It's got a bit of a fleck to it so it doesn't seem to fall into either the grey or black categories.
Really any high quality product will look good, and I've used lots of good products over the years. By and large the final outcome is about the prep. Beyond that the key is to decide what your priorities are. Warmth/color? Durability (long lasting)? Layering? Gloss?

P21S - this is an extremely glossy warm wax - reapply monthly

Chemical Guys Black Wax
- The less metal flake in the black the better this looks. I can tell you the longevity isn't great if the car sits outside (my 2014 Grand Cherokee was the test bed) - Re-apply 3 to 5 weeks

Chemical Guys Pete's 53
- warm soft wet look - Re-apply 4 to 6 weeks

Zaino Z2PRO
- With 2 layers the durability on this is very very hard to beat outside of a product like Ceramic Pro coatings that will cost much much more. It won't add any warmth because it's very very clear, but it does add lots of shine and layers for depth. Re-apply 4 to 6 months

I would personally try the P21S on Magnetic or Guard, but mostly that's because I am curious how it would showcase the metal flake. It looked phenomenal on a friend's Redfire 2003 Cobra I did back in the day (lots of flake).

My step father just bought a Deep Impact Blue 2015 GT today.

Once I get my hands on it I'll post that one up. I'll be using Zaino for the durability on his because he won't wash and re-apply often enough for waxes. Basically twice a year I'll do the treatment and the Zaino will last and protect between.

Sly, I used Zaino products on my Vapor Silver 2008 GT and now on my 2015 GTPP in black with fantastic results. I follow Zaino's instructions (dawn, clay, wash, Z2Pro, Z6), but am curious to know if you have any tips or tricks to improve upon their process. As a side note, the orange peel on this car is terrible. Can it removed without destroying the clear coat?

Looks really great Sly. The last black car I owned was a Porsche 911 turbo cab in black. Detailing brings out the O.C.D. in me. After I was finished with the detailing I spent an additional hour trying to polish out the one imperfection on the paint that just wouldn't go away. It was only after an hour or so that I realized that it was only a strand of my hair being reflectd back at me in the paint. LOL
My 2015 GTP convertible is white LOL

I would no longer use Dawn as a stripper soap - it's not horrible once every couple years, but I found something better for stripping wax:

Remember this is STRIP wash - do not use after you have detailed only for stripping off everything to start fresh.

I'm actually about to strip mine and do a full Zaino in the next few weeks - winter protection since it lasts so long.

The key to any detail including Zaino is the prep. As long as you are clay barring and correcting any swirls etc you pretty much have it. I do like to layer Zaino though because it works so well. I usually do this (after all prep):

First time: Z2, Z2, Z6

Then if you want to go more layers I do one to one Z2, Z6, Z2, Z6 etc

Seems to work the best for depth. I don't use Z5 because I don't want any fillers but it's a good product for micro marring cover.

Now, for the orange peel ... I'm not touching mine. Modern paint is so much thinner that to me it's not worth removing enough clear to make it flat. That said, it can be done absolutely. There is a guy who did his on here using a denim pad. Remember, you need to know what you are doing when you use something like that because damage is possible. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK on this one!

Here's his thread - beautiful results but I can't stomach doing it on mine.
