I have a cylinder 2 misfire on my ecoboost. I've been dealing with it for quite some time now.

Does anyone have the OEM part number for a new fuel injector. Also how much does the OEM fuel injector cost?

Any help would be awesome! Thanks!

You sure that's an injector? Have you pulled it and moved it to another cylinder to see if the misfire goes with it? I would go with plug or coil before pointing to the injector.

What he said could really the the prob if you're still on the stock plugs with some miles on them (20k or more). Mine were waaay out of gap spec when I replaced them at 30k.

Yeah, I always start with the cheapest stuff first. Check the wiring, check/replace the plugs, check/replace the coil packs, and then check/replace the injector.

I really doubt it's related to the injector though. 99% of the time, it's a bad plug. A friend just recently went through this. He replaced everything I've mentioned above and even his HPFP. It turned out to be a bad spark plug and was apparently damaged in a way that he couldn't tell until it got worse.

Check the plugs!

Every 10k-15k in modded cars. In a fairly stock car, I'd check them every 20k-25k or so.
Do you suggest NGK spark plugs?
I'm at 20k miles and modded so I want to change these asap lol

Thanks for the replies guys. I have replaced the stock plugs twice. I've swapped coil packs. I've used system cleaner and valve cleaner. I still am receiving little misfires once I accelerate to 3kRPM.

After the system cleaner, it ran surprisingly SUPER WELL. But 3 days later it's showing signs again.

I REALLY REALLY WANT A WALNUT BLASTING done to my car. But can't find a single shop that does it. And Ford doesn't do valve cleanings.

Does anyone in Southern California, know of any shop that does ecoboost mustang walnut blasting?

I'm 100% that would solve this problem.

No catch can? How many miles? You can pull the intake manifold and manually clean them with solvent and a brush and whatever else you can find.
