Will do. I already have a K&N with it. But I do want to get a dry filter soon after I swap it back. Now I need to get a GFB DV+ and I’ll be done with it...maybe
Alright Lawrence, you convinced me. I’m gonna swap it back in. It’s cold as hell right now, but I’ll post my results when I get it done. Thanks bud!
How would you rate the drive ability after going back to the stock box and MIT? Any noticeable differences throughout the rpm band?
I found this pic on Google, so that’s what got me thinking about modding the mit to fit on the FP intake...
Anyone modify an AIRAID MIT to work with the intake that is installed with the tune? If so how do you like it?
Or has anyone reinstalled the stock intake with the AIRAID tube on the FP tune?
I’m thinking of going one way or the other and want to see if anyone else has tried either option.
I don’t think they could do that without adversely affecting the car. The increased speed limiter is also a result of a larger radiator, and I believe an oil cooler, not just the ecu. Too many customers would use a Cobb tune and then blame Cobb when their car overheats at high speed :headbang:
Like ^^^ said, keep the Roush Quads. I also have an RS1 w/Roush Quad AB. You don’t need anything other than to replace the resonator with a y-pipe and boom, you have a cat back (aside from the neck-down on the stock dp). I went with Lethal Perfomance’s 2.5in y-pipe. Clamped right to the existing...
Has anyone installed the Airaid MIT onto their GT350 intake?
It looks like quite a bit of bending the stock tube right at the flex portion of where it connects to the box/filter, and the coupling to the turbo seems stretched off-center a little bit. It probably doesn’t hurt anything, but it...
Yes there is. Post it in the “want to buy” section. Look around there and see if anyone is looking for any of the parts you’re parting with. Pretty sure someone would be interested in the air box.
Also, since you’re already tuned, a cat-back system would def help you see the full potential of...
Dausmus- how is the alignment with the rear bumper cutouts? Just curious if it centered in the outlets just fine, or if it took quite a bit of maneuvering to get straight?
Mine has never had less than 91, and I topped it off with almost a full tank of fresh 91 right after I left the dealership. I haven’t been doing much part throttle cruising however. I have been driving more aggressively thinking that was the fastest way for it to learn. I’ll start doing some...
Ok, I know this has been posted before. I have seen many different opinions as to how long it takes for the engine to “learn” the tune and fuel octane. Anywhere from 100-600 miles. I have about 200 on mine since the tune was installed. I can definitely feel a difference, but it seems like it’s a...
Got my ProCal kit from CJPonyparts for $533 shipped. You’ll have to post in the CJPP forum and ask for a discount code to get that price. Ordered last Wed, and it arrived last Fri.
Looking for a strut tower brace off a stock GT/PP, or the similar FP version. I have a EBM/PP, so I do not need the K-member brace, only the strut tower brace. Please post cost and shipping to 67217, thanks!
Finally pulled the trigger. Got a nice discount with a code from Dave @CJPP. Should be here sometime next week. Can’t wait to wake this thing up a bit!
I was going to go with a set of Power Stop drilled/slotted rotors and pads on my 06 Jeep Liberty until someone told me to look at Nakamoto. They have a set that is similar to the PS. Has anyone had any first hand experience with these? Please post your feedback, thank you!
