If you need 1700cc injectors then you have a serious built motor.

In general I would go with Ford for say the 47lber's or if I needed more then ID.

The HPFP simply can't flow the volume needed for the stock injectors (on greater than E30) much less larger ones. It's kind of like having a water pump that maxes out at 100 GPM. If there's not enough flow for a 2" pipe then a larger 3" wouldn't do anything to offer a benefit(s). If the injector duty cycle (IDC) was high on the stock injectors, larger ones would help with that, but otherwise, until a improved HPFP comes out we won't be needing these.

a birdy told me that these flow enough to empty out the fuel rail at WOT
in other words HPFP can't keep up....

It seems that at this point, bigger injectors are a sure way to increase an ecoboost's performance through weight reduction. This occurs via lightening of the owner's wallet.

Gotcha. I wasn't sure on what the injector duty cycle was at when the HPFP maxed out. I've never logged IDC.

Don't need them/not necessary. PI via aux injection is the ticket.
I think aux injection may solve the issue with oil buildup on the valves as well.
