Fuel door issue

I just noticed the fuel door is not completely flush with the body on my 2018 EcoBoost. You can see the shadow in the top left direction.
How can I fix this?

Open it and see if you can adjust the hinge maybe??

Something similar happened to mine, from what I remember the plastic hinge broke somehow. Replaced under warranty. No idea on a DIY fix, but seemed like a pretty straightforward job for Ford to complete.

Looks like the plastic hinge is not broken on mine. It doesn't wobble like the one in the video on the other thread. It is more like a fitting issue. Just wondering if there's a way to adjust it.

Another question about the fuel door. It is not locked when the car is locked. Is it how it is supposed to be? All my other cars would lock the fuel doors when the cars are locked.

The fuel door does not lock, but Ford sells a locking cap BU5Z-9C268-B

The fuel door on the S550's is just a "push-n-pop". Meaning once you push on the fuel door itself, it just pops open.

OP - if the car is still under the factory 3/36, see if the Service Center can take a look and fix it.

I was at CarMax looking at some Mustangs of different years and different models. They all had the issue where the top left part of the fuel door and the body are not flush. I guess it is by design.
