Borla always sounds good, has that low deep rumble. I too would like to hear what the touring sounds like.

Well Borla did join the club a little late, that explains. Lets wait and see!

I spoke to a Borla rep and according to them, the touring version has a resonator. It is not an X/Hpipe but just a straight through design. I suggest going the FRPP touring if you want the X-pipe. I did not like not having at least an H pipe on a V8 so I changed my order to the S-type. Shout out to Hypermotive as they were great to deal with and have the best prices. Love the sound of the S-type. Not as loud as I thought it would be but I haven't heard any other exhaust on a 15 in person.

Did people complain of droning with the FRPP Borla? Also, what difference would a H pipe do as oppose to an X pipe?

Lastly, what do you guys do with the stock exhaust? What happens if you resale the vehicle with an aftermarket exhaust?

We did receive confirmation that the borla touring and S types is identical to the FRPP touring and sports. We talked to both FRPP and Borla on this matter however, we have noticed slight tone differences between the two.

We've sold a few touring from Borla and about 40 FRPP touring setups, we've only received 1 review that had drone.

Same mufflers. Obviously the resonator vs. x-pipe is a difference in the designs.
