FRPP Touring Vs Borla Touring

Have you guys seen the Borla Touring on Borla's website? It looks like similar to original setup with a unique suitcase design to minimize drone. Would like to hear this setup in person!

:doh:Not FRPP Touring my friend the Borla. It looks like the setup where there is a X pipe for the FRPP, Borla Touring has a small suitcase h pipe kinda design. I m pretty sure this system is quieter than the x pipe FRPP version but how much i want to know. CJPony Parts please make a Borla Touring video? Thank you.

Oddly enough it also shows the Touring to be 10 lbs lighter than the S type... would have thought the suitcase design would have added weight compared to the x-pipe.

I ordered the borla touring. Not sure when it will ship, but I will post a video once I get it

Thanks my friend! I already have Roush Axle backs but i feel like they are a little loud for me, so i might sell them and get the Borla Touring as well. The FRPP versions were really loud in the videos so we ll see if Borla versions are a bit tamed.

I think the weight difference is S-type is a full 3 inch compared to 2.5 inch Touring setup. The suitcase seems really slim and small too.

If you want a relative comparison between Touring and the S-Type, here's a video from Borla on their S197 version. Obviously the sound will be different with the S550 but this should give an idea in terms of the relative volume between the versions. I am guessing the FRPP Touring is somewhere between the Borla Touring and S-Type.
