Can anyone tell me if this is normal for these axles or if this is defective?
This video will show me turning the pinion on the differential, while recording how much the inner axle CVs will rotate back and forth before the outer CVs rotate.
This car suffers from a really nasty delay in throttle input, and I am positive that this is where its coming from. The axles rotate 5+ degrees before the outer CVs join the party. This translates to 20+ degrees rotation slop in the driveshaft and pinion.
When you tap the throttle to accelerate, there is a delay then a thud and go. Then when you let off the gas pedal, there is a delay then a thud followed by engine decel. Pretty sure the axles are the problem.
