I had the same thing. Rubber mallet hammer and towel fixed it.

Thanks guys for the replies and pictures.. it definitely looks like it can go in further. I don't have a jack or jack stands... wondering if I can still accomplish this while it's at normal height? Your placing the towel and striking the splitter on the front edge, correct? or are you hitting it from the underside of the splitter?

Would second your instinct to take it in to a reliable dealership to double check and make sure it's seated properly. Often when they are not seated correctly they also didn't use all the clips and screws because they didn't watch the installation video to get it correct in the first place.

FYI some of the front splitter screws (W715060-S450B) are on national backorder per Tasca. I'm going to swing by a bolt and screw store and see what I can find.

Thanks Andy, it seems weird that those clips are exposed like that, but this whole splitter install and stabilization business seems a bit cloudy. I will be taking my 350 into the dealership soon anyway to get some new wheels mounted, so I will have them just take a look and make sure all the hardware is there and that it is secure....

Did you end up putting the Sliplo product on your front splitter? looks like there is something on there... if so, what do you think of it?

Here's mine before I changed the setup around and I promise this was on the all the way. Those slots are normal. If the *tallest* part of the splitter is touching the bottom of the bumper, it's locked in.

I did end up using the slip lo, seems to be working fine. You dont get that grinding noise anymore if you happen to scrap.

thanks Kevin, I appreciate it! I will still confirm with dealership that all the hardware is attached....I bought it used,so wasn't there when dealership first installed it. I'm going in anyway for other work. But this is very helpful...

Nice Job Andy, my biggest quandry is finding a place that is willing to put this on a lift (or let me use one) and install it for me. I suppose I could invest in a Jack, but not really ready for that. There are places out in CA etc. that rent time on lifts which is cool...

Yeah, I was going to ask about that. Some dealerships are weird that way, in that they will not put on after market parts for you. I even had my main mechanic who services all of my vehicles turn me away when I wanted some mods done on my previous GT. They just don't want to deal with it. I do know of a vinyl and wheel shop here in appleton that might be willing to do it if my dealership will not.
