Front splitter hardware

My car came to me with an OEM splitter installed by the PO (non HP car). I took the splitter off and reinstalled the 8 bolts under the chin based on the recommendation of another poster.

However, you can now see the bolts hanging down from the front of the car when walking up to it, and I'm fairly certain they don't need to be there.

Can anyone post an underside picture of their non HP chin spoiler to compare?
